Lanarkshire News- Wooler 2
The second YB race of the season we arrive back in Wooler in Northumberland, North East England around 75 miles back into lower Central, Scotland.
The birdage was up on last week with 3,147 Lanarkshire birds and 13 others crates on board for this race.
The race controller had the birds away at 08 15am in a south west wind .
The winners started hitting their lofts around the 1hr 46 minutes for the 80 mile journey for this week’s winner recording a velocity of 1329ypm.
This week’s winner is into Chryston club on the North side of the federation for the loft of Law & Brady.
Their winner is a Cheq W/F hen is their 2 x1st Open federation of the season.
She is a darkness youngster bred by John Weldon from a kit of youngsters purchased. The winner is a Van Den Bulk x Pitbull lines.
She has been well trained with around twenty trainers out to twenty miles.
Well done lads on another fine result.
Again this week there was cracking team performances for Barclay McCrindle who took the first 15 positions in the Centre section.
Paul Macaloney showed his class with over twenty pigeons in the top 100 of the Open.
The battle of the "Titans" continues.
The returns appeared good for the second race of the season.
