1. Eligibility and Confidentiality of Bids

1.1 All bids submitted through the auction system are treated as confidential during the auction and will not be disclosed to the public until the auction has closed.

1.2 Auction results will be published on the website results page within 48 hours of the auction closing.

1.3 Participants must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract.

1.4 Employees responsible for operating the auction may not participate except when bidding on behalf of third parties.

2. Bidding, Buying and Withdrawal

2.1 All sections of the bidding form must be completed accurately when submitting a bid.

2.2 All bids are final and cannot be cancelled once placed.

2.3 If your bid is successful, a contract is formed between you and the vendor. Elimar Pigeon Services Limited acts only as the auction platform.

2.4 Bidders may submit further higher bids after placing an initial bid.

2.5 Winning bidders will normally be notified within three working days.

2.6 We reserve the right to withdraw or amend auction lots at any time.

2.7 Where identical bids are received the earliest bid will be accepted.

2.8 Reserve prices may apply to auction lots.

2.9 Bids must exceed the current highest bid.

2.10 The winning bid must meet any specific auction conditions.

2.11 If a higher bid is removed, a previous bid may be accepted as the winning bid.

2.12 Successful bidders will be notified and provided with payment instructions.

2.13 Failure to complete payment may result in legal action.

2.14 We reserve the right to refuse or remove bids.

2.15 Auctions may be extended, cancelled or delayed if necessary.

2.16 Bids made in the final 10 minutes extend the auction by 10 minutes.

2.17 Elimar Pigeon Services Limited is not responsible for disputes between bidders.

2.18 Vendors are responsible for providing correct documentation to buyers.

3. Fees and Proceeds of Sale

3.1 Winning bidders will be contacted to arrange payment.

3.2 Payment must normally be completed within three days.

3.3 Interest may be charged on late payments.

3.4 Refunds will only be issued if items cannot be supplied.

3.5 Vendors will incur a £10 charge if an auction lot is withdrawn.

3.6 Overseas buyers are responsible for any additional bank charges.

3.7 If a buyer confirms a purchase, payment remains due within three days.

3.8 VAT will apply to commission where applicable.

3.9 Vendor commission rates:

• 17% for vendor-entered lots
• 22% for lots entered by Elimar on behalf of vendors
• Minimum £10 charge

3.10 Unsold pigeons from clearance sales may be re-advertised once.
