Wrexham Writings

Hi all, I have taken on the role of Press Officer for the Wrexham and District Federation of Racing Pigeon Clubs.

I hope the clubs can assist me in supplying as much info as they can to make these reports interesting for all. I look forward to hearing from you all. Some photos to include in the write ups would be great as well.

Over time I will introduce both myself and hopefully members of the Federation. To start a brief one on me my name is Wayne Jones, and I fly in Ellesmere HS. I’m a third generation Pigeon Fancier.

The opening race of the 2025 season for the Wrexham Federation had the race marking delayed by 24 hours. The birds were released at 11:40am on Sunday 20th April from Hereford in a Light East North East wind, as seems to happen in modern racing the leading birds made light work of the race.
