Given the concerted attacks that have been made on the sport by certain organisations this year, I feel it perhaps best not to air dirty laundry where it can be used as a tool against us, but it is clear that things need to change and fast because as a sport we are facing meltdown.
Issues surrounding health are at their annual high-point and it is up to every individual to take responsibility for their actions and think of their fellow competitors before their own desires if things are not quite right.
So you miss a few races? So what? Every single one of us, not just some of us, have to look at the bigger picture otherwise there will be no picture to look at before long. If there is even the slightest doubt, the best thing for all concerned is to sit it out.
A message to all scribes, I need results by Sunday evening following the race. Any not with me when I submit the article will not be included the following week so please do your best to get your results in on time. Also any photographs are much appreciated.

Thanks for reading.
Darren
