BURTON & SOUTH DERBYSHIRE FEDERATION.
Saturday November 16th saw the annual prize presentation of the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation, held at The Beeches in Ashby De La Zouch.
44 members and guests sat down for a 3 course meal, which was followed by the prize presentation and the draw for the 2025 young birds which were very kindly donated by some top lofts both locally and across the UK, which helped raise funds for both the Federation and the Air Ambulance charity.
Before I go on to the details of the prize winners, I’d like to thank Alan Houldsworth for taking the photos, as I was unable to attend due to being at my grand daughter’s birthday fireworks party. Guests for the evening were Howard Winstanley and his good lady Lin, and Howard presented the following prizes; Ronnie Dakin & Son of Stretton for 1st fed Marlborough, this was the first time Ron had topped any fed, well done mate.
