Saturday August 19th and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Hullavington.The pigeons were liberated at 10-00 in a west wind.Getting back to back wins in Etwall & District and District Flying Club and getting the first pigeon into Derby was Tony & June Whitehurst who made a clean sweep taking the first four positions.Their winner was a blue cock doing 1671 followed by a mealy cock doing 1633.9 then a mealy hen doing 1633.6 and a mealy cock doing 1629 to take fourth.
In The Brackens South Road Flying Club Mr & Mrs Jason Phillips tok the first three positions with a ch/pied hen doing 1645 which was bred by Spinks & Barks followed by two b/pied hens doing 1564 & 1559. In fourth position was Brailsford & Doyle doing 1548.

In Osmaston Park Homing Society Dave Waddington took the first three positions with three red hens doing 1641 and two doing 1640.In fourth position with a blue hen doing 1632 was Jake Harcup.
In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club John & Pamela Dowd had a good day making a clean sweep with their four pigeons doing 1717.3,1717.1,1717.1 & 1716.5.This loft also took the first eight positions in the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation.Another excellent performance from John & Pamela.

Derby Premier were at Frome with the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation and the pigeons were liberated at 06-45 in a west wind.Taking the top three positions was Paul & Lynda Todd and taking the red card was a cheq cock doing 1698 which was bred by Brian Hawes followed by two blue hens doing 1684 & 1612.In fourth position was Johnathan Woodwood with a blue hen doing 1583.
