Osmaston Park Homing Society Prize Distribution & Pay Out 2023.
The Osmaston Park Homing Society held their annual payout & presentation evening at their club headquarters The Jubilee Club Chaddesden. The secretary Steve Stone presented the prizes and first up was the Little Eaton loft of S H W Hall with a total of 181 points after having an excellent season winning 9x1sts,6x2nds,14x3rds,9x4ths plus 10 minor prizes winning Highest points Trophy, Old Bird Inland Average Trophy, Young Bird Average Trophy, Combined Old & Young Bird Average Trophy, Longest Young Bird Race Shield, Friendship Trophy for the combined longest Old & Young Race Average, and Bird of The Year trophy for Cheq Hen GB 22 D 29007 for winning 1st Club 130 birds & 1st Burton & South Derbyshire Federation 1170 birds winning prize money of £552.73p.

Runners up were the man & wife partnership of Mr & Mrs Houldsworth. ( Alan & Liz ) with 83 points winning 3x1sts,7x2nds,3x3rds,2x4ths plus 8 minor cards winning the Grieg Reece Evans Shield and prize money of £267.39 plus Show Race winnings of £110 pound making a total of £377.39.

The total payout for the 2023 season was nearly £3200.00 plus £600.00 in pool money making the season's payout of nearly £3800.00.
The members would like to thank the club officials Steve Stone ( secretary ).Mick Stone clocksetter, Mick Willis Basket cleaner, George Torry chairman and all the other members who helped out on basketing night with the marking of the pigeons and loading of the pigeons when some nights it was pouring with rain. Also for all their hard work they have put in over the 2023 season ensuring the club goes from strength to strength, and all the members who made it possible to have this excellent pay out by supporting all the fund raising events which took place over the year.
