Early morning mist held up the release of Hull federation pigeons until 10.15, when liberation took place into a fresh south easterly wind.
There were some early times recorded but also some empty perches come nightfall, overall it turned out to be a good race.
Taking 1st. Hessle FC. and 2nd Federation vel. 1587 and keeping up their good form of recent weeks were Pete and Carol Carmichael with a yearling chequer hen out of their Evans / Cuthbert breed,
they were also 3rd. club vel. 1517 with a 2yo chequer hen already a winner this year.
This weeks winner!
2nd. club and 7th. federation vel. 1526 also 4th. club vel. 1500 was Alan Jones of "SouthPark Lofts" first with a yearling chequer hen bred by D. Blakey of UNC. fame
Alans 2nd. bird also a yearling hen was a quality Vandenabeele.
