Welcome everyone to the 2018 racing season, Hessle FC. race programme started last week with a race from Sleaford. Taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd club was Dave Chaffer who only recently came back into the sport after having a break for about 4years, and keeping up his good form from last year. 4th. club came Jim and Gill Goodwin ever present members and top channel flyers.

This week the 22nd. April the club were at Jubilee Park, Huntingdon. Members sent 362 pigeons liberated after a misty start 9.45 am. Wind easterly and variable. Keeping the pressure on and taking 1st-2nd-3rd and 4th. club and 3 birds in the top 10 of the federation was Dave Chaffer with vel's of 1561-1560-1559 and 1558.1st. bird was a 2yo. blue cock which won last week and also as a 2nd. Chelmsford and 1st. Reed to it's credit, this bird was a gift bird from Graham Antcliffe when Dave restarted in 2016 bred out of Red Star Lambrechts stock his other timers are Herman Cuester x Lambrechts bloodlines.
