Sat. 28th. Aug. The weather forecast was for heavy rain and thunder storms for England and Wales with a possible occasional breaks, our federation wet for one of these breaks in the weather and liberated the birds at 10 o'clock into a light S. Easterly. the convoy got a good start and cleared the race point , quickly heading for home. Unfortunately hitting the rain at the home end, members were getting their birds back through t the afternoon in light to heavy rain at the end of the day the majority were home with members reporting justa few empty perches.

Taking 1st. 2nd. and 3rd. club vel's. 1361, 1361, 1360 also 1st. 2nd and 4th open federation, were that dynamic duo of Pete and Carol Carmichael first to clock was a self bred Hardy Kruger bred down from their top breeding pair No. 15 and No.11, 2nd bird another home bred Hardy Kruger bred directly out of 15 and 11 . No.15 is a direct son of t Humberside trophy winner for the vet Dave Robinson and No.11 is the runner up Humberside trophy but a different year for Pete. 3rd. bird guess what a Hardy Kruger re from direct stock.Well done Pete and Carol fantastic flying.
4th.club vel. 1351 and flying a great youngbird in his come back into the sport is Dave Chaffer with a Graham Ancliffe Lambrecht.
