Battle 2nd. July liberated at 7.30 am. into a W.S. Westerly wind

 

Taking 1st. club vel. 1547 is hard working club member Trevor Tasker with a yearling chequer cock which was 5th. Club from Chelmsford last week. Bred from his top Premier Stud stock birds.

 

2nd club vel. 1523 Vannessa Colby and Kev Baker with 'Nearly Schalie'taking his 4th. card and all pools.

 

3rd. club vel. 1501 is P and C Carmichael with a chequer yearling hen Cuthbert x Evans breed.

 

4th.club vel.1484 was Colby & Baker w ith 5yo chequer cock 'Money Bags'.

Chelmsford 9th July. Birds were liberated at 13.15pm. after waiting for rain to clear. Flying into a fresh S. Westerly a fast race was expected.

 

Taking 1st. and 2nd. club vel 1620 and 1601 were Colby and Baker partnership first pigeon a blue pied 2yo cock second pigeon and winning all pools with a multi prize winning chequer cock.

 

3rd. and 4th. club vel.s 1592 and 1590 were Pete and Carol Carmichael 1st. bird a yearling blue pied hen, 2nd. bird a 3yo blue hen.

Arras 15th July. Flying in conjunction with the South Lincs. Fed birds,pigeons were liberated on the Friday at 9.30am. wind west south west . After breeding winners for other club members this year Alan Jones of SouthPark lofts finally got in front to take 1st. club vel. 1270 with a yearling Vandenabeele hen from his top class 'Shadow' lines.

 

2nd 3rd. and 4th. club vel.s 1252- 1239 and 1224 and keeping up their fantastic run of form were non other then Pete and Carol Carmichael 1st. pigeon a 4yo chequer pied hen '943' 2nd. bird a yearling blue hen '094' 3rd. pigeon another yearling blue hen '058'.
