Pigeons were liberated at 8.50 into a fresh northerly headwind a hard race was predicted.
Taking top honours in the Hessle FC. vel. 1242 was Barry Milburn with his previous Chelmsford winner the good Vandenabeele cock from Alan Jones Stock.

In 2nd. and 3rd. positions vel. 1240 and 1238 was Alan Jones himself his 1st.bird a yearling chequer hen same "Shadow" bloodlines as the above winner, 2nd. bird another blue yearling hen bred down from "Bliksam" .
4th. club vel. 1235 were Colby / Baker with another in form cock winning it's 4th. card this year.
