Making a clean sweep once again in Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club was the in form loft of Rob Pearson with a blue hen doing 1633 followed by a cheq hen doing 1632.8 then a cheq cock doing 1632.6 finally a cheq hen doing 1631.9.
In Derby South Road it turned out to be a two loft race with the Mackworth loft of Roy Gregory & Son out in front with two blue hens doing 1625 & 1568 followed by a blue cock doing 1563. In fourth position with a b/cheq hen doing 1555 was John & Steve Hicks.
In their five bird section Roy Gregory & Son take the first three positions doing 1563,1543 & 1514 with Brailsford & Doyle in fourth doing 1433.
In Osmaston Park Homing Society the loft of Mick Stone continues its run of good form taking the first three positions with a b/w/f cock doing 1583 followed by two blue cocks doing 1583 & 1555 with Nicholson Brothers in fourth with a blue cock doing 1547.
In the Silver Ghost Homing Society Tom Chadwick takes the red card also fourth position with his winner doing 1559 and his second pigeon doing 1484. In second & third positions was Reuben Hough with a blue cock doing 1547 followed by a b/c/pied cock doing 1544.
In Etwall & District Homing Society A.Peach & Son take top spot with a ch/wf hen doing 1510 followed by Dave Williams & Son in second position with a blue cock doing 1490. In third position was A & C Perry with a cheq hen doing 1452 followed by Willy Horton with a blue hen doing 1424.
The Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Marlborough and the pigeons were liberated at 09-45 in a west wind.
In Derby Premier taking the red card with a blue hen doing 1528 was L.D.S. Johnson with Paul & Lynda Todd in second position with a cheq cock doing 1454. Roy Gregory & Son taking the next two positions with a cheq hen doing 1438 and a dk/w/f cock doing 1437.
