Osmaston Park Homing Society Presentation Evening.
Saturday December 17th was the date for the Osmaston Park Homing Presentation Evening. The attendance was very poor but the members who did attend made a decent evening of the event. Tony Whitehurst former president of the Midlands National Flying Club was called upon to present the prizes. First up to the table and top prize winner for the second year with 123 points were the Little Eaton loft of S & H W Hall, winning 6x1st's,6x2nd's,5x3rd's,64th;s plus 11 minor cards plus Highest Point's Winners Trophy, Young Bird Average Trophy and prize money of £321.41.

Next up with 54 points and runner up was Mick Stone winning 3x1sts,1x2nd,4x3rd's,2x4th;s plus 7 minor cards with prize money of £148.30,Show Race money £65.00,Gold Ring Race money £140 & Breeder Buyer race money £150 making a total winnings of £503.30.

Next with 50 points it was the turn of Shenton Brothers ( Ron & Norman ) winning 3x1st's,1x2nd,4x3rd's,2x4th's plus 3 minor cards with prize money of £65.18,Show Race money £35,Gold Ring Race money £80 & Breeder Buyer Race money £150 plus Breeder Buyer Cup making total winnings of £330.18.

After the presentation there was a raffle with plenty of prizes to be won and raised £70.
The members would like to thank Secretary Steve Stone, basket cleaner John Hasse, Clock setter Mick Stone, Handler Mick Willis, Chairman George Torry for all their hard work over the season which was a very disruptive old bird season due to the bird flu outbreak as half the members could race and the other half were grounded. The club committee would like to thank all the members for all their support and finally a thank you to the Chaddesden Jubilee Club committee for providing us with such excellent headquarters.
The total payout for 2022 was just over £2600.
