NEW YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE FED NEWS WITH SUE.

This week the race from Reed on the 28th of June liberated 1,639 birds liberated in a West wind turning S East enroute. Topping the Federation and Section A is Premier Mill Lofts on 1475. Topping Section C is Mark Taylor on 1459. Topping Section B is John Eastburn on 1455. Topping Section D is K & H Green on 1454. Topping Section E is S & M Cook on 1409. Well done to everyone on the result and once again an excellent race recorded.

SECTION A

Flamborough Homing Society. 9 members sent 172 birds with the red card going to Premier Mill Lofts Kerry Lisa & Steve on 1475 with a Rudi Van Reeth hen. Second place went to club secretary John & Linda Chadwick on 1455 with a Herman Ceuster hen won minor cards. Third Premier Mill Lofts on 1444 with a Mark Walker bred Leideman. Fourth place went to Premier Mill lofts on 1443 with a Willem de Bruijn.

Wolds Flying Club. 2 members sent 24 birds with the four places going to Barry Temple on 1455, 1427, 1421 7 1421 with his Lambrechts.

Whitby Premier Club. 5 members sent 87 birds with the red card going to Rob Mallinson on 1452 with a multi winning Woodroffe Bros stock off friends Callum Gilson/ Frank Sheader. Second place went to Rob Mallinson on 1452 with a yearling hen off friend Mick Betts of Doncaster. Third place went to Rob Mallinson on 1452 with a yearling hen bred by Friend David Parker of Clithero winning all the pools. Fourth place went to Mike Wood on 1444 with a yearling roundabout Van den Bulck from friend Eddie Faulkner of Leeds.

Scarborough Social Club. 6 members sent 85 birds with the red card going to Howard & Johnson on 1409 with Paddys  Johnson breed. Second & Third place went to Allen. Dean Ingle & Pete Midgley on 1408 & 1407 with a pair of Herman Ceusters. Fourth place went to Allen. Dean Ingle & Pete Midgley on 1402 with an Alex Docx Wildermerch.

SECTION B

Ravenser Flying Club. 9 members sent 116 birds with the red card going to John Eastburn on 1455 with a yearling grandson off Stafford hen x S. Knowles hen had 3 x 1st. Second and Third places went to John Eastburn on 1453 & 1451 with two off federation sons of Stafford hen. Fourth place went to S. Hewitt on 1428 with a Paul Johnson bred stock.

Holderness Flying Club. 5 members sent 61 birds with the red card and Second went to Plant & Wainwright on 1403 & 1391. Third place went to Kenny Lister on 1387 with his Irish breed. Fourth place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1382 with their once again their only entry she has had every old bird race this season which is some achievement.

Cottingham Homing Society. 5 members sent 50 birds with the First four places going to Ian Bennett & Reading on 1443 1428 1415 & 1411. No Details given.

Withernsea H. Society 1 members sent 12 birds Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1275 1254 1248 & 1246 with birds off his French family.

SECTION C

Kingston Flying Club. 10 members sent 139 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor with his multi prize winning Gary Cox long line of winning Herman Ceusters. Second and Third places went to Phil Wood on 1451 with two Bulcks bred by Gary Cox also a previous winner. Fourth place went to Ari Rahman on 1449 with a Lambrecht bred by Alan Stone also a previous winner,

Beverley & District Club. 7 members sent 90 birds with the red card and Second places going to Jon Leskiewicz 1454 & 1451 with a pair of 2yr old David Sara hens with 8 X 1ST between them he said he was just going to send one hen no 80 if he had done he would still have won good birds Jon. Third & Fourth places went to Philip Bolton on 1443 &1443 with a 2yr old Darren May cock, followed by a 3yr old Van den Bulck hen.  

Driffield Homing Society. 5 members sent 48 birds with the red card going to Gary Ringrose on 1414 with a Louis Thijs x STS Loft. Second place went to Gary Ringrose on 1403 with a Louis Thijs. Both bred by Rob Mallinson. Third place went to Gary Ringrose on 1390 with a self bred Mallinson x Douthwaite stock. Fourth place went to George Atkinson on 1376 with a Gaby Vandenabeele.

North Hull Club. 8 members sent 82 birds with the red card and Second place going to Keith Haldenby on 1429 & 1413 with a pair of broken off Vandenabeels from Mick Mallinson. Third place went to Micky Foster on 1399 with one off Ronnie Nickin. Fourth place went again to Micky Foster on 1385 with one bred by Craig Smith Better than Bolt.  

SECTION D

Hull Millennium Club. 11 members sent  165 birds with the red card going to K H Green on 1454 this is Kev’s wife pigeon called Mud Raker off Harry Kemp, Second place went to Dave Robinson on 1452 with a Jayne Mitchell hen scored before. Third place went to Dave Robinson which a yearling hen which has 2x 2nds. Fourth place went to A. Mohammed with a De Klack Janssen scored twice this year.

Hessle Flying Club. 8 members sent 139 birds with the red card going to J & G Goodwin on 1426 with a Sablon x K Kingston distance bird 2 x 1sts now plus others. Second place went to J & G Goodwin on 1419 with a Martin Dawson Ceuster had cards. Third & Fourth places went to George Rudd on 1418 & 1416 with a pair of Herman Ceusters.

West Hull Club. 4 members sent 45 birds with the red card going to G. Hall on 1429. Second Third and Fourth places went to Jamie Martindale on 1418 1411 & 1406. No Details given.  

SECTION E

Barrow Homing Society. 8 members sent 94 birds with the red card going to S & M Cook on 1409. Second place went to P Beadle & Mark on 1393. Third & Fourth places went to A. Jacklin on 1393 & 1391.  No Details given.  

Brigg Flying Club. 7 members sent 74 birds with the first four places going to J. Simpson on 1397, 1383, 1379 & 1375. No details given.   

Foxhills Flying Club. 13 members sent 133 birds with the red card & Third places going to Rob Taylor on 1397 & 1377. Second and Fourth places went to James Ashenden on 1378 & 1373  No Details given.
