NEW YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE FED NEWS WITH SUE.

This weeks race was from Reed on the 26th of April where there was 3,568 birds liberated in a South West wind pushing them to the coast. Topping the Federation and Section A Mr & Mrs Nathan Hoggard on 1779. Topping Section B is P. Seaton on 1761 Topping Section C is M. Taylor on 1760. Topping Section D is D. Robinson on 1741. Topping Section E is A. Jacklin on 1704. Well done to everyone on the result and once again another excellent race.

SECTION A

Flamborough Homing Society. 9 members sent 309 birds with the red card and Third place going to Mr & Mrs Nathan Hoggard on 1779 & 1776 with two Herman Ceusters x Vandenabeels sisters which are both Celibate Hens. Second place went to Premier Mill Lofts (Kerry Lisa & Steve) on 1778 with a Lambrecht which has had 2 x 1st fed. Fourth place went to Premier Mill Lofts on 1773 with a Liedeman x Sodurland & Maddison.

Scarborough Social Club. 9 members sent 180 birds with the red card and fourth places going to Andy Moon on 1738 & 1700 with his Herman Ceuster family his 1st pigeon was 5th from Sleaford. Second place went to Howard & Johnson on 1726 with his own Johnson breed. Third place went to Daniel Varlam on 1701 no details given.

Wolds Flying Club. 2 members sent 43 birds with the red card Second, Third & Fourth places all going to Barry Temple on 1763, 1763, 1763 & 1761.

Whitby Premier Club. 10 members sent 230 birds with the red card going to D P Abbott on 1697 with a yearling self bred Romein Klein roundabout hen. Second place went to Rob Mallinson on 1696 with a yearling hen bred by his good friend Mick Betts of Doncaster. Third place went to Rob Mallinson on 1695 with a 2yr hen which took all the pools. Fourth place went to D P Abbott on 1684 with a 3yr old Roundabout Dirk Van den Bulck hen.

Bridlington Flying Club. 3 members sent 23 birds with the red card & Third place going to Riley Wilkinson on 1633 & 1616 Second place went to Julie Wilkinson on 1617 Fourth place went to O & S Wilkinson on 1608

SECTION B

Ravenser Flying Club. 13 members sent 263 birds with the red card going to P Seaton on 1761 with a 2yr old Ali Bros cock which has had 3 x 1st it won last race last season and is proving to be a super pigeon. Second place went to P. Seaton on 1760 with another Ali Bros 2yr old cock. Third place went to our hard working secretary Rich Dodsley on 1755 with 1yr old Lambrecht x Bulk sire bred by G. Cox scored from Eastbourne. Fourth place went to John Eastburn on 1750 with a 1yr old son off the J. ring cock sire top fed from Reed.

Holderness Flying Club. 9 members sent 196 birds with the red card going to Paul Johnson on 1755 with his single entry with a self bred John Wrights Cooper pigeons x Premier stud Sablon. Second place went to Ken Lister on 1741 with a self bred pigeon that has had 9 x 1st that originated from Gary Cox. Third place went to Ken Lister on 1741 with a cock from the lines of Terry Lodge x John Wright. Fourth place went to G Plant & Wainwright on 1731 with a pigeon from Ray Lunt.

Cottingham Homing Society. 7 members sent 70 birds with the red card Second and Third places going to Andy Cook on 1748, 1734, 1724 Fourth place wet to Keith Haywood on 1723. No Details given.

Withernsea H. Society 3 members sent 40 birds with the red card & Second place going to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1687 &1687 with a pair of French x K. Anderson won before. Third place went to Dean Adamson on 1653 with a Clive Lister bird. Fourth place went to A. M. Dodson on 1651 with a French x Herman.

SECTION C

Kingston Flying Club. 13 members sent 340 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor on 1760 with a Shane Reading Herman Ceuster won before. Second place went to Mark Taylor on 1742 with one bred by Wayne Brownlee a Gary Cox x Brownlee Herman Ceuster. Third place went to Bennett & Reading on 1736 with a Willem de Bruijn a previous winner. Fourth place went to Bennett & Reading on 1736 with a Bulck x Ceuster also a previous winner.

Beverley & District Club. 12 members sent 241 birds with the red card going to Jon Leskiewicz on 1749 won again with a self bred 2yr old David Sara Hereman Ceusters hen that has won before. Second place went to Philip Bolton on 1746 with the same 3yr old Frank Dixon cock which was third last week and has handful of firsts to his credit. Third and Fourth places went to Mick Mallinson on 1745 & 1744 with a pair of 2yr old Ceusters hens.

Driffield Homing Society. 4 members sent 62 birds with the red card going to Gary Ringrose on 1740 with a Louis Thijs x S.T.S.Lofts. Second & Third places went to Gary Ringrose on 1721 & 1720 with a pair of Frans de Coux x Louis Thijs. Fourth place went to Gary Ringrose on 1701 with a Louis Thijs all these bred by Rob Mallinson.

North Hull Club. 7 members sent 139 birds with the red card going to P/B Rhodes on 1708 with a self bred Shane Reading Ceuster. Second place went to P/B Rhodes on 1707 with a yearling Shane Reading cock. Third place went to Micky Foster on 1697 with a Colin Smith Humber Trophy winner. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Keith Haldenby on 1685 with a self bred Mick Mallinson Bulck stock.

SECTION D

Hessle Flying Club. 13 members sent 313 birds with the red card going to Bri Rowson on 1720 with a Soontjen. Second place went to Bri Rowson on 1706 with one bred by Franciosy & Bennett hen, Third place went to Robert Smith on 1703 with a Carrera. Fourth place went to Phil Irving on 1703 with a self bred Herman Ceuster.

West Hull Club. 5 members sent 103 birds with the red card Second & Fourth place going to Jamie Martindale on 1713, 1710 & 1677. Third Place went to Darren Allen on 1705 No Details given.

Hull Millennium Club. 12 members sent 317 birds with the red card and Third place going to D. Robinson on 1741 & 1725. Second place went to K S Marritt on 1725. Fourth place went to L. Scarah on 1716.

Brigg Flying Club. 10 members sent 167 birds with the red card going to T. Dawson on 1662. with a  Second place went to J. Jacklin on 1661. Third place went to K. Good on 1658 Fourth place went to J. Jacklin on 1656
