Wollaston - September 2014
The last Young Bird race was flown from Wollaston on Saturday 6th September. Liberated at 12.00 into a light North-West wind, the leading four birds made velocities of just into the 1100s.
This was the Federation Open race and it's congratulations to G A & L Firth of Lockerbie who won with a velocity of 1198.
It was yet again another hard race with many losses reported.
Sorry I only have the East Section results as I seem to have misplaced the West.

Well gent's that's the end of the season yet again and I thank everyone for sending in the results etc. I hope to see everyone next season if all's well (I'll be eighty-two years young by then!). Good luck to everyone and let's hope next season will be the best ever!
