BAILEY & PROCTOR FINISH THE 2017 OB SEASON ON TOP.

The news this week from Packmoor is Bailey and Proctor have provisionally won 1st and 2nd Fed from Ancenis. The first bird a 2 year old cock, the second bird a 3 year cock. It is approximately 400 miles into Packmoor from Ancenis so another great performance following their success last year when they topped the Fed from Niort. The bird that has won from Ancenis is a full brother to the Niort winner of last year. 3rd club 5th Fed are J & R McLatchie another top channel partnership, in 4th place, who also seems to find one when it comes to channel racing, is Lee Khan & Sons. The McLatchie partnership take 5th place and Bailey and Proctor with their third bird take the last place. My predictions a few weeks ago about the quality of Packmoor members when racing over the channel has proved to be correct, with Packmoor members topping the Federation in 2 out of the 3 races.

With the old bird season now over I would just like to say what a good season it has been, the birds have been looked after very well and returned home in excellent condition thanks to Geoff Silvester and his drivers, also the race controllers have done a great job with their liberations - you soon know how things are going when you don’t get any negative remarks at the club house - so no complaints from Packmoor for this old bird season and we all hope for the same with the young bird season.
