NEWS FROM DARREN SMITH

Hello folks,
North Liverpool Federation’s fifth race of 2014 took place from Yeovil on Saturday 10th May in a south west wind. The weather forecast for the week leading up to the race predicted countrywide rainfall of almost biblical proportions but that was not to deter the majority of lofts from sending and once more the race controlling skills and experience of Noel Quarless came to the fore as he spotted a window of opportunity and decided to go for liberation very early that morning, 8am to be precise, resulting in one of the best races of the season to date.
