THE BIRDS TO OVERWINTER.
Our 27 racers are all tested to our satisfaction. Five have flown 710 miles Barcelona International,seven yearlings 353 miles and fifteen ybs tossed at 60 miles-one toss off the loft. My strain is the dominant factor after 41 years of cultivation. With one or two still to work home ,all these will grow and moult on with open loft in Autumn/Winter. We have some of the same origin to send out to my network and thus the process of enthusiasm continues. Most of my knowledge ,i leave behind in the form of 3 books which are for sale to the world on Amazon. As keen as i was 65 years ago ,i do love the humble racing pigeon. What could possibly better them ??

DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES.
My psyche is buzzing 24/7 and with vivid dreams. They belong to the inner man and can reveal many things about life and personality. I perceive them as an inner reality and subjective truth. Sometimes symbolic,recurrent,bizarre,i try to observe them in study,remember them an analyse them. If of a negative,or bad theme,i attempt to compensate for them in some sharp,lucid and creative writing during the day. The world of the dream is as powerful as interaction with the so called external world. I believe the mind reacts to form a fusion or sometimes oneness with the world or a perception of the cosmos. Identification or separation from the subjective ego or external otherness or object can be tenuous,as in mystical and higher consciousness states there are no perceived boundaries. The secret is to maintain a semblance of sanity throughout- articulate my thoughts and feelings in chat,humour ,articles and books. Human consciousness is a blunt tool in pursuit of omniscience or absolute knowledge,and science is both naive and ignorant to pretend to know the answers to all the questions about the nature of reality and the absolute.

HYPE OVER WELL BRED BIRDS.
Spend a fortune at your peril as most birds are trumped up to be good by commercial people and con artists in clever sales pitches. We test every pair in breeding and most never produce a good bird or a champion in race reality. You learn to value the ones that breed good birds,since they are rare. The evidence and proof lies in actual racing results,and some people have an intuitive perception of a good bird or pair,which makes them leading stock men. I prefer to swap birds off the champions from a family raced by a man of integrity. Wise decision making can source some good ones from the studs too. Study the reasons why champions emerge from a sea of mediocrity-not money alone my friends !

PRECISION
I like to see and process precise and accurate information. This concept applies to medications,supplements ,breeding and pedigree information. In modern society there is a surfeit of nonsense for us all to analyse and criticise both in politics and the mass media. It is a tragedy that millions of people are influenced or brainwashed by it. At the central core of every human activity is some truth which takes on a reality of its own. My work is flawed yet i try to maintain a semblance of integrity. Try and see through the hype to what is evident behind illusion and delusion-there is a lot of it about.

THE FUSION OF GENIUS AND MADNESS.
An integrated psyche may accomadate the two personality traits as original,powerful and creative insights. It is how we perceive and judge people,particularly in the media and popular consciousness. Gifted,talented,genius are subjective perceptions or ideas with no absolute measurement. It is the same with contemporary diagnosis of psychosis eg schizoaffective disorder-who is what depends on the person making the decision. Ideas of people transmute and change over time. The rich deversity of humanity is fascinating ,and people like to categorise and label them in types of nomenclature. The irony is that the real truth about the intrinsic nature of a human being remains unknown,in a shallow sea of external judgements.-
