Saturday September 9th and the Burton & South Derbyshire were at Blandford with the pigeons being liberated at 08-45 in a west wind.
Having a excellent day topping the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation.getting the first pigeon into Derby and taking the top two positions in the Brackens South Road Flying Club was last weeks gold ring race winners Jason & Karen Phillips.Their winner was a grizzle hen doing 1628 the same pigeon that won the gold ring race which was bred by fellow club member Fred Stevenson and their second pigeon was a ch/pied hen doing 1580.In third & fourth positions with two blue hens doing 1512 & 1447 was Johnathan Woodwood.

In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club John & Pamela Dowd took three of the first four positions doing 1616,1584 & 1583.In second position was R & M Duffield doing 1611.
In Osmaston Park Homing Society Dave Glew came out on top with a blue cock taking the red card doing 1583.8 followed by a blue hen doing 1583.5 to take second.In third position was last weeks winner Dave Waddington with a blue hen doing 1564 followed by John & Steve Hicks with a cheq hen doing 1560 in fourth.
In Etwall & District Flying Club A.Peach & Son made it a clean sweep with a blue hen doing 1579 to take the red card followed by a blue cock doing 1569 then a cheq cock doing 1547 with a cheq hen doing 1545 to take fourth.

The Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Windrush and the pigeons were liberated at 08-00 in a west south west wind.Taking the first three positions was Paul & Lynda Todd with a cheq cock doing 1692.7 to take the red card followed by a dk/ch cock doing 1692.0 then a ch/wf hen doing 1689.In fourth position was L.D.S. Johnson with a blue hen doing 1688.


 Derby Premier held a single bird nomination race with £50 being donated by Simon Woolley for the winner who was Paul & Lynda Todd with a winning velocity of 1666.
