In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club the in form loft of Rob Pearson continues to dominate making another clean sweep with a cheq hen bred by Ann Smith of Ashbourne doing 1514 followed by a b wf hen doing 1514 then a blue hen doing 1508 followed by a cheq hen doing 1507.
In Derby South Road Flying Club taking the red card after a short break from the sport and making a return was the Chaddesden loft of Dave Waddington with a cheq hen doing 1492. Taking the next three positions was the ever consistent Mackworth loft of Roy Gregory & Son with a b wf hen doing 1410 followed by two blue cocks doing 1387 & 1385.
In their five bird section Roy Gregory & Son took the first three positions doing 1410, 1364 & 1138.
In Osmaston Park Homing Society Mick Stone picked up another red card with a blue hen doing 1489 also taking fourth position with a blue cock doing 1375. In second position was Mick Fearn of Little Eaton with a ch pied hen doing 1384 with Steve Stone in third with a b wf cock doing 1375.
In Etwall & District Flying Club Mr & Mrs T Childs & Son take the top two positions with a blue cock doing 1388 and a cheq hen doing 1387. In third position was Dave Williams & Son with a blue hen doing 1364 followed by Sam Phillips with a blue hen doing 1327.
In the Silver Ghost Homing Society Reuben Hough takes three of the first four positions with a cheq cock getting its second first prize doing 1350 followed by a cheq hen doing 1333 then a dk cock doing 1331. In second position with a cheq cock doing 1335 was Tom Chadwick.
Derby Premier were at Marlborough with the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation and the pigeons were liberated at 09-30 in a west wind.
Getting the winner with a cheq hen doing 1440 was Roy Gregory & Son with Paul & Lynda Todd taking the next three positions with a dk ch hen doing 1411 then a blue pied hen doing 1409 followed by a blue hen doing 1395.
