Saturday April 23rd and the Burton & South Derby Federation were at Hullavington and the pigeons were liberated at 10-30 in a north north east wind.
The first pigeon into Derby was a yearling grizzle hen doing 1312 which took the red card in Osmaston Park Homing Society for club secretary Steve Stone.This pigeon was bred of stock from Jack Whitehouse. Steve also took third position with a yearling dk/ch hen doing 1300.

In second & fourth positions was last weeks winner Mick Stone with two yearling blue cocks doing 1308 and 1295.
In Derby South Road Flying Club Roy Gregory & Son get three of the first four positions. Their winner was a four year old blue cock doing 1301 followed by a four year old cheq cock doing 1228 to take third position and a three year old cheq cock doing 1219 to take fourth.In second position was L.D.S.Johnson with a yearling grizzle hen doing 1240.

In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club Mr & Mrs John Dowd make it a clean sweep with a yearling blue hen doing 1289 followed by a two year old cheq cock doing 1286 then two two year old blue hens doing 1285.6 & 1285.3.

In Etwall & District Flying Club A.Peach & Son get the winner with a three year old cheq hen doing 1261 followed by last weeks winners Peter & Shirley Harrison in second & third positions with a yearling blue pied cock doing 1241.8 and a two year old white cock doing 1241.In fourth position with a yearling cheq cock doing 1232 was Alan & Liz Houldsworth.

Derby Premier were at Upper Heyford with the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation and the pigeons were liberated at 10-45 in a north north east wind.
Getting the red card for the second week running was the Oakwood loft of Paul & Lynda Todd.Their winner was a two year old blue hen doing 1304 followed by a yearling blue cock which was bred by Dave Glew doing 1300 to take second position then a three year old cheq hen doing 1250 to take fourth.In third position was Roy Gregory & Son with a yearling pied cock doing 1266.
The members of Etwall & District Flying Club would like to wish Jon & Lavena Childs all the best in their retirement from the sport after many successful years.The partnership flew as Mr & Mrs T Childs & Son and after the sad passing of Tony, Vena & Jon carried on to win many races and were top prize winners in 2015.
