Phil Bourke of Stretton takes 1st fed as “Mo” leads the field out of Frome

Saturday September 5th saw 9 clubs send 1167 birds to Frome; they were liberated at 09:30 in a W.N.W. wind. The north in the wind seemed to hold ‘em on a good line and it turned out to be a good race.

Congratulations to Phil Bourke of Stretton on taking 1st fed on 1520 with his young blue cock christened “Mo”, his last 2 numbers are 11; Phil’s’ son Jack is Liverpool mad; so of course it was named after Mo Salah. This cock off stock from D & G Wright of Blyth was Phil’s’ first pigeon on the bank holiday Monday from the NMCC Wincanton race, provisional 4th open? Well done Phil, from all at Stretton.
