GWP Macaloney winning 1st,2nd,7th,26th,27th Open fed
This week took us to Melton Mowbray in Leicester which is around 249 miles back to Central Scotland.The convoy of 2,000 birds and six Fauldhouse baskets were liberated at 08 15hrs in a SW wind.The winner took 6hrs 23 minutes recording a velocity of 1145.
The race itself was another erratic event with many pigeons not homing on the day.The less said the better!

Again the winners are the brilliant GWP Macaloney wining 1st,2nd,7th,26th,27th Open federation. Hat Trick Kings is in reference to the partnership who recorded their third hat Trick of federation wins 2011,2019,2020 .In the 115 years history of the Lanarkshire federation in old bird racing this partnership are the only loft ever to complete "Three in a Row " These guys are going from strength to strength and will leave a legacy that will never be equalled. Congratulations from all the Lanarkshire committee on another record!
Their winner was a yearling blue hen called " Queen B "who was bred by Yves De Wit through Darren May. The partnerships second bird was Super Girl 43 Supermac x One & Only lines
