Trevor Pells, of Norwich, is the provisional winner of this year’s North Road Championship Club Unikon-sponsored race from Lerwick which carries with it the prestigious King George V Challenge Cup.
In a race dominated by the eastern sections, his winner is a yearling and this is believed to be the first yearling to win the race.
Race secretary Ian Bellamy gave this report on the race:” A successful day for the NRCC from Lerwick this year with all sections timing in on the day.
