OBITUARY FOR THELMA DENNEY
The conscientious wife of the great Brian Denney has died sadly. I first met Thelma as a member of Strensall PRS in 1984. She became rather famous as a lady pigeon fancier as the iconic Thelma and Brian Denney sporting relationship, who achieved great things. I perceived her to be loyal, hard-working, a practical and good cook who loved her gardening, family and birds. She was a friendly, harmonious person who was in tune with nature and the countryside, and made a great impact in her mortal life. Respected by many ,she sure left a legacy behind.
