They are here in my perception on Feb 23rd. Queen bumble bees are feeding on the hellebores, along honey bees. The birds are starting to sing at night and through the day with great tits, a storm cock, hedge accentors, robins, sparrows and doves Clusters of lady birds cling to a conifer and the gnats are dancing. The yellow celandine has opened her petals and that is the indicator that spring is here in my little niche. My Iris, Crocus and Narcissus add to the beauty of nature, which is far from the concrete jungle of despair. In March sand martins will course the river and swallows will nest in the barns as early summer migrants. I love it! Jim Emerton.
1949 to 2019-What makes me tick- I started as a dreamy, introverted, sensitive boy who inhabited an inner, visionary world. My 70 years have realised my dreams and the persistent, dogged and dedicated fascination in all my interests of a worldly and other worldly nature from fantasy to reality of an internal and external nature. A driven nature has squeezed the life out of every possibility and adventure on a physical, intellectual, emotional, sensual and spiritual and philosophical plane. I embraced formal education, the psychedelic sub-culture, drugs sex and rock and roll, and have played out many roles in society. The essence has been an uncompromising development of personality, when the mainstream has beckoned. In my final years there is a feeling of self-realisation, liberation and freedom which i liken to an ethereal spirit blowing in the wind. Jim Emerton.
On March 1st, after 2 days of supplements they will all run together, in a loft closed up for 2 days. Afterwards, the birds will be on open loft to come and go as they please, when they will pair and lay as they wish. One toss on eggs will do the trick before entering the BICC race prog prior to stopping all the birds after Tours, to be on ybs for Barcelona. The condition is built towards July NOT April, as we are not trying to beat people in club racing. Performances in marathons are about good navigation. Jim Emerton.
