INTERNATIONAL RACING: THE IRISH CONNECTION

The great Irish intellectual Liam O Comain and myself have both promoted this ideal and concept in the past. It is now time for International racing into Ireland to become a practical reality by forging a link of warm contact and understanding with the BICC. I admit my bias: I want to see marathon racing to the fanatics and pioneers in Ireland. I was offered a house to clock out of Barcelona International! I feel with optimal bird management this can be done with some regularity. Just imagine the result in the world's pigeon media - it would make some more amazing history, would it not? Now destiny is on the doorstep of the Irish fancy e.g the NFC and the BICC. Let's have some positive decisions and a determined resolve by all to initiate this type of racing for ardent fanciers into the Emerald Isle. My motto is think it, do it, so let's have a go. The birds and fanciers will enjoy lasting fame in the echelons of excellence.
