INSIGHT INTO OUR RACE OF TRUTH

The Tarbes NFC has been rather difficult this year, and with the usual exemplary performances by men and their birds. Nick and I stayed confident throughout, and we have been rewarded by the wonderful and joyous return of yearling cock MUSGROVE OPTIMIST at 8.21 pm on the winning day flying a measured 558 miles into West Country Taunton - a difficult fly in those conditions of nor west air flow and west at liberation. He is a direct son of our champion MUSGROVE ADDICTION, 11th and 46th open BBC Barcelona International 710 miles, and MUSGROVE INSIGHTS, 27th open Barce 710 miles - both pigeons were 2nd section. The genes are loaded with my key birds BARCELONA DREAM, DARK ENCHANTMENT, DEMON SEED, DIABOLOS, DOT’S DELIGHT etc. We are waiting with expectation for more arrivals. I note the 844 mile bird for Mr Wilson at Barce, the 730 mile yearling for Adshead at Tarbes, and the usual top birds of the master Neil Bush.
