Firstly I must apologise in the delay with this report but I had a few problems with the PC and have only just got them sorted out.

This was the 3rd of the clubs 4 races and had 26 nominated birds 1st Open 1st SecA was Padfield Family of Abertillery with their 2yr old cheq cock   His Sire was out of a ½ brother to ALBERT a fantastic racer and breeder out of the famous Z ring cock from their Wim Mullers  On the dams side she was out of Old 89 when paired back to his ½ sister, the mother of Old 89 was a double g-daughter of Wim Mullers Super Koppel which they bought at the Birmingham sale from Wim for £250 on the Ponderosa Stall (Wim always reminds them when he speaks to them that  Tony felt this hen was a little on the small side, but what a breeder she has turned out to be for them)  The Dam is out of Padfields Perfection 1st, 3rd, 23rd and 39th WSR National Pau, when paired back to his ½ sister their mother was the original hen from his Wim Muller Gold Mine Pair  This cock was 69th Open West Sec BICC Poitiers in 2009 and this year had 3 channel races her last one being from Messac with WSRN  He had been raced on roundabout then repaired after Messac and sent to Tarbes feeding two 5 day old youngsters  He was  2nd WSRN Tarbes beaten by loftmate and 9th Sec G 61st Open NFC winning over £1500  2nd Open 2nd Sec A was W Aherne of Neasden  with a 2yr old which is a g-daughter of Eric who was 5th Barcelona  Eric is a g-son of Barcelona Bernie 1st Barcelona  The Sires side is Jan Aarden from Louella  Last year was sent to Tarbes but was a bit late but Bill said she has been a very consistent bird for him  She was sent sitting 10 days  3rd Open 3rd SecA  was R Pearmain & Son of Wickford with a 3yr old cheq cock who has been to Tarbes in 2009 and was 70th Open BICC then sent back to BICC Perpignan where he was 30th Open   He was sent to BICC Saran and Poitiers this year which turned out to be stiff races and in both races had a night out but was there before 8am both times  He was then prepared for Tarbes and was sitting 8 days   4th Open 4th Sec A was Mr & Mrs Hawkins of Manuden with their 4yr old mealie cock   His Sire was bred by George Bates out of his No 1 stock pair AJ and his dam is out of their own family (Jim Biss x Geoff Cooper)  In 2009 he was 5th GDSB Tarbes and 497th Open  This year he had 1 preparation race from Poitiers where he was 139th Open   5th Open 5th Sec A Wearn Bros 1 of Ramsdean with a 5yr old blue hen unfortunately no details available at this time  6th Open 6th Sec A was M Gilbert of Windsor with a 5yr old widowhood cock  'Southfield Darkie' which was 1st BICC Pau this year for Mark   He has been a very good bird for Mark in the past winning BBC Messac in 2009 and was also on the day from NFC Tarbes in 2008.  He is a half brother to 'Southfield Pau' winner of the BICC Pau in 2005 and also a half brother to 'Night Flight' winner of the NFC Pau/Sainted in 2004  Mark said this is going to be the birds last race and he will now be retired to stock   7th Open  7th Sec A was Jordan Bros of Sturry with a 2yr old blue hen   She is a daughter of Taffy   Dam was bought in for stock from Graham Moss of Stoke-on-Trent  This was her 1st attempt at 560mls and was raced before with the EECC and the Wingham Club  8th Open 8th Sec A was K J Palmer of Swindon with a 7yr old cheq cock that is a Bruton x Des Coulter that was sent sitting 10 day old eggs   He has previously flown Perpignan and Tarbes and has always been his first bird and very reliable and Keith says has never let him down but had a bit of a knock out of this race
