Derby Premier Flying Club held their annual presentation evening at their club headquarters The Brackens Public House Alvaston. Before the presentation took place the club held their A.G.M. with everything put in place for the 2018 season. Then the procedure got under way of presenting the prizes and the secretary Paul Todd introduced the guest of honour for the evening Jake Harcup and the presentation got under way.
First up and top prize winners for the 2017 season was Mr & Mrs Todd ( Paul & Lynda ) winning 19 x 1sts,18 x 2nds,17 x 3rds & 15 x 4ths. Best loft 2017 ( 179 ) points Old Bird inland average,Old Bird points,Young Bird Points,Young Bird Average,Longest Young Bird Race ( Carentan ),Fourgeres Old Bird,& Lowest winning velocity and prize money of £1,253.

Runners up were L.D.S. Johnson with 24 points winning 2 x1sts,2x2nds,2x3rds & 6x4ths Channel Averages & Longest Old Bird Race and prize money of £178.

Next came John Coote with 11 points winning 1x1st,1x2nd& 2x3rds and prize money of £87.
Mr & Mrs Noel Wylie came next with 3 points winning 1x2nd and prize money of £31.

Simon Woolley came next with 2 points winning 1x3rd and prize money of £24.

J.Woodward came next with 1 point winning 1x4th and prize money of £17.
The members would like to thank Jack Whitehouse for his donation of £50 to be paid out to the bottom five prize winners at the ratio of £10 each.Also a thank you to Paul & Lynda Todd for their hard work they have done over the 2017 season.
