Saturday August 12th and the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Hullavington where 1866 birds were liberated at 09-15 in a West North West wind.
Selston club members had a excellent day taking 75% of the top twenty with S & K Purdy coming out on top with a blue cock doing 1596.8. In 2nd,3rd,4th,5th & 13th was last weeks winner Monty Buxton with a cheq cock doing 1594.0 then a blue hen and a blue cock both doing 1593.8 then a cheq hen doing 1593.3 followed by a cheq cock doing 1545.3.
Taking the next three positions 6th,7th & 8th was K.Greaves doing 1576.5,1576.0 & 1575.2.. In 9th,17th & 20th was Ralph Jepson doing 1571.69,1539.5 & 1538.7. Tenth position went to C.Davey doing 1571.67 with 11 & 12th going to P & M Lloyd doing 1569.9 & 1568.4.

Mr & Mrs P Todd of Derby Premier took the next three.14th,15th & 16th doing 1540.7 with a red hen then two cheq hens doing 1540.0 & 1539.8.B & C Brelsford & Son were 18th & 19th with a b/pied cock doing 1539.1 and a b/pied hen doing 1538.7.
