Sunday May 22nd and the Burton & South Derbyshire Federation were at Frome and the pigeons were liberated Sunday at 08-30 ( no wind given ) after a 1 day holdover due to adverse weather conditions.Getting the first pigeon into Derby and making a clean sweep in Derby South Road Flying Club was the Mackworth loft of Roy Gregory & Son..It was a clear winner for their  four year old blue cock doing 1611 followed by a five year old blue cock doing 1531 then a four year old cheq cock doing 1510 with a blue three year old blue cock doing 1509.

 

In Osmaston Park Homing Society opening their account was the Chaddesden loft of John & Steve Hicks.Their winner was a three year old b/pied cock doing 1605.In second & third positions was Mick Stone with a two year old blue hen doing 1600.5 and a yearling blue cock doing 1600.1 followed by Mick Willis in fourth with a five year old blue cock doing 1584.

 

In Etwall & District Flying Club Steve Billings takes the top two positions with a two year old b/w/f cock taking top spot doing 1594 followed by a four year old cheq cock doing 1566. In third  position was Alan & Liz Houldsworth with a two year old blue cock doing 1561 with Willy Horton in fourth with a yearling blue cock doing 1538.

In Ilkeston Bulls Head Flying Club Mr & Mrs John Dowd take the first three positions with the red card going to a four year old cheq hen doing 1591.8 followed by two yearling blue cocks doing 1591.3 & 1589.1.In fourth position was G Inger & Son with a two year old cheq cock doing 1577.8.

 

In the Cornishman Homing Society Brian Dyjas continues to dominate taking the first three positions.His winner was a yearling blue hen doing 1567 followed by a yearling pied cock doing 1544 then a three year old hen doing 1541.In fourth position was Woolley & Rogers with a yearling blue cock doing 1540.

 

Derby Premier were at Bedhampton with the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation and the pigeons were liberated at 10-45 with no wind given.Making a clean sweep was the Oakwood loft of Paul & Lynda Todd with a four year old cheq hen doing 1511 followed by a  dk/ch cock doing 1473 then a blue cock doing 1471 and a blue hen doing 1471all yearlings.
