As always the members will be updated with everything that is happening in the federation.
The Lanarkshire Federation will be transporting/convoying this season from races from Retford ,Melton Mowbray & Peterborough with Glasgow and Ayrshire federation.There has been excellent communication and working in partnership with these federation and with everyone on board to make a success of this initiative I am sure this will grow.Hopefully this will flourish and in the near future there will be a combine race for those fanciers in these areas. Everyone who has the sport in mind will welcome this venture and who wouldn't like to win the combine race. Well done to the committee members from each federation that took the time to make this happen.
We are delighted to inform the membership that our main sponsors will again be Tunnocks bakery,who have agreed to remain our sponsorship for the next three years. This is brilliant news for the membership and we thank Tunnock for their continued support.
New Stevenson pigeon club are holding a Breeder Buyer on Sunday 24th of April at 3pm in the boxing club. There will be £500 guaranteed prize money,there will be 1 prize for each section. Anyone can enter birds but they have to be raced in the Lanarkshire fed from Appleby 2 race. All birds must be in the pen the day of the sale so all ring numbers can be taken also they must be no older than 30 days.
