Our NFC Messac Race

After almost six hours on the wing, in heat and some Nor East, there was a steady stream of arrivals till the hours of darkness.

It was a great race with birds recorded late into the evening. With more of our team coming in next day, fed peanuts and supersix, they will go open loft on a natural breeding cycle, and rested for 3 wks. This is to build up energy and fat reserves for the long migration ahead.

It was a steady race that found out the fit birds and fliers, and exactly what was needed at this stage in the season. I love Nor East winds on the south road. Congrats to the long fliers, and all who chanced their arm.
