SINGLE BIRD NOMINATION FLYING

This is a specialist, demanding and very rewarding activity for the discerning fancier. The Single Bird Greater Distance Nomination Flying Club caters for participants in the main races of the leading race organisations e.g NFC, BBC and BICC. For the person the foresight and skill is in the selection of an individual bird in advance, where you can be judged on this particular event. It certainly focuses your mind on one bird in an attempt to perfect the management preparation of one performance athlete. Once you are successful you can apply the lessons learned to all your other birds. I am surprised that this peculiar skill is not practised more widely, as the reports would appeal to continental fliers. It really intensifies the harmony and unity between man and bird and must be good for the collective expertise of the fancy.
