LATE ARRIVALS
by Jim Emerton
You will get them, and for my purposes they may turn out to be the best. They learn survival behaviour experience, and when reconditioned may bring glory to your loft. When a fit bird is fixated and develops a bearing on your loft it may evolve as a great racer of the future. The kind fancier allows for the recovery! To aid this physiological/psychological process I like peanuts/Hormoform in the mix and VYDEX SUPERSIX in the water. The electro lytic balance is restored, and with loft rest the wellbeing of the bird is worked on in a determined fashion. It may be months or years before the bird returns. Experience in nature is critical for marathon birds. A good fancier develops esoteric knowledge of his flock.
