Show Season at Ballylesson
The Ballylesson club have started their 2013 Show season with 3 classes for Old Cocks Through the Wires, Handled and Eyesign and the cards were awarded as follows:

The winners in the 2 bird club for 2013 were as follows starting with the leagues:
LEAGUE A Gordon bros & sons 28 points
LEAGUE B S & K Duke 26 points
LEAGUE C R Moore & Son 30 points
LEAGUE D McCartan & Woodsides 30 points
LEAGUE E R & G Thompson 24 points
LEAGUE F F Gilmore 26 points
This means that the Gibson cup for the league winners will be shared this year between McCartan & Woodsides and R Moore & son, both lofts scoring 30 points.

Bangor Open Show 28th December
The Bangor club as mentioned in last week’s column are holding an Open New Year Show in the Portavogie clubrooms on December 28th 2013. Entry fee is £1 per bird and there will be the usual classes for Old, Young and Eyesign. Prizes for all classes plus a selection of 2014 YBs for auction. Birds penned from 1pm judging starts 3pm. See you there.
New Loft Manager for Newcastle partnership
The Newcastle partnership of Ronan McVeigh and son after a successful 2013 season have appointed a new loft manager in Ronan’s granddaughter Maisie who from our picture looks as if she is getting ready for the 2014 season.
