Derby Burton & District South Road Fed Marlborough from Alan Houldsworth

Saturday June 20th and the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at Marlborough with 59 members sending 1255 birds which were liberated at 09-10 in a South West wind.Congratulations to  Woodhouse members Mr & Mrs A Jackson on topping the fed doing 1862.1.In second with a yearling blue cock doing 1860 was D.Trow of Swallownest.In third & fifth were Woodhouse members P.Rimmington & I.Wright.Both their pigeons were five year old blue cocks doing 1859 & 1850.Jones,Proctor & Pickering Woodhouse took fourth doing 1851.3.Sixth,seventh & eighth went to Woodhouse members B & C Brelsford & Son with their first two pigeons doing 1847.1 and their third pigeon doing 1846.7.Ninth & tenth positions went to Park members with Broughtons,Geelan & Goodwin with a yearling blue cock doing1844.2 followed byT & H Garner & Morton with a yearling cheq cock doing 1842.8.

Mr & Mrs A Jackson got the winner at Woodhouse doing 1862 ( Fed Topper ) with P.Rimmington & I Wright in second & fourth with two five year old blue cocks doing 1859 & 1850 with Jones Proctor & Pickering in third doing 1851.
In Swallownest D.Trow came out on top with a yearling blue cock doing 1860 to take the red card followed by a two year old blue cock doing 1740 taking third.Second & fourth positions went to E.Pearson with a three year old blue cock doing 1741 with his next pigeon doing 1707.
In Park Broughtons,Geelan & Goodwin take the red card doing 1844 with their next pigeon a three year old blue hen doing 1836 taking fourth.Second & third positions went to T & H Garner & Morton with a yearling cheq cock doing 1842.8 and a two year old blue cock doing 1842.3.
Making it a podium finish in Railway Inn North was V.Derricott & T.Poole.Their winner was a two year old blue cock doing 1842 with their next two pigeons doing 1836 7 1783.
Poolsbrook winners were Jepson & Bennett with a yearling b/pied hen doing 1829 with M & L Herbert taking the next three with their hens doing 1827,1799 & 1798.
Abd Spiby takes the red card in Storey Arms with a two year old blue cock doing 1793 with J.Barker taking the next three with a three year old blue cock doing 1721 then a yearling cheq cock doing 1718 followed by a yearling blue cock doing 1697.
In Kilburn Club Keith Cresswell continues to dominate taking two of the first four positions.His winner was a yearling blue hen doing 1696 followed by a two year old cheq cock doing 1679 to take third.In second with a yearling dark cock was Keith Foulke with L.Hall & Parkin in fourth with a two year old pied hen doing 1669.  
Sunday 28th June and the Derby Burton & District South Road Federation were at  Salisbury where 58 members sent 1225 birds which were liberated at 07-30 in a strong south west wind.Congratulations to Jepson,Bennett & Leech ( Woodhouse ) on topping the fed with a yearling cheq hen doing 1904.In second was D.Trow ( Swallownest ) with a yearling blue cock doing  1897.M & L Herbert  ( Poolsbrook ) took third,fourth & fifth.Their first pigeon was a three year old blue hen doing 1893 followed by a three year old cheq hen doing 1892 then a six year old blue hen doing 1891.Sixth & seventh positions went to Poolsbrook members S.Tongue & Orme with two yearling blue hens doing 1888 & 1886.Keith Foulke Kilburn took eighth & ninth with two yearling hens doing 1882 & 1871 with Broughtons,Geelan & Goodwin (Park ) in tenth with a yearling blue hen doing 1847.

In Poolsbrook Jepson Bennett & Leech took top spot doing 1904 ( fed topper ) with a yearling cheq hen. M & L Herbert took the next three with two three year old hens doing 1893 & 1892 then a six year old hen doing 1891. 
In Swallownest D.Trow took three of the first positions with two yearling blue cocks doing 1897 & 1773 then a two year old blue cock doing 1768 in fourth.In third were P & A Wilcox with a yearling blue hen doing 1771.
In Kilburn club Keith Foulke made it a clean sweep with two yearling hens doing 1882 & 1871 followed by two three year old cocks doing 1768 & 1767.
Broughtons,Geelan & Goodwin took the red card in Park with a yearling blue hen doing 1847 followed by W.O'Brien in second & fourth with a two year old cheq cock doing 1843 then a yearling blue cock doing 1840. T & H Garner & Morton took third with a two year old cheq cock doing 1842.
In Woodhouse Jones Proctor & Pickering took the top two positions with a two year old cheq hen doing 1845 followed by a four year old blue hen doing 1837.In third & fourth were B & C Brelsford & Son with a yearling blue hen doing 1828 followed by a three year old cheq pied cock doing 1814.
Railway Inn North D & T Poole & V Derricott had a podium finish taking the first three with a two year old blue cock doing 1834 taking the red card followed by two yearling blue hens doing 1771 & 1765.
Parry & Ellis got the winner in Railway Inn South doing 1783.
In Storey Arms J.Barker gets the red card with a three year old blue cock doing 1825 followed by a yearling cheq cock doing 1665 to take fourth.In second was Abd Spiby with a yearling blue cock doing 1709 with K.J.Walker in third with a two year grizzle cock doing 1708.
