This week the race from Huntingdon on the 1ST of August was liberated in a West South West wind and Topping the Combine and the South Section is Paul & Helen Johnson of Hedon on 1465. Topping the Central Section is Alan Stone & Son of Hull on 1441. Topping the North Section is James McCourt & Son Dale of Whitby on 1388. Well done to everyone on the result.
Coastal South Section:
Holderness Flying Club. 9 members sent 158 birds with the red card going to unstoppable Paul & Helen Johnson on 1465 with a 2yr old 75% Premier stud Sablon x Stuart Ward Van De Maere cock. Second place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1449 with a yearling Hoogland x Stuart Ward Van de Maere which has 3 wins to its name. Third place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1426 with a prize-winning Van de Maere x which topped the Y.M.R last week. Fourth place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1413 with a yearling Van de Maere x Premier stud Sablon. Well done both of you.
Hornsea & D. H. Society. 6 members sent 132 birds with the red card Second Third & Fourth places all going to G. Leahy on 1437, 1436, 1408 and 1403.

Central Section:
Hull Chalk Lane Club. 5 members sent 42 birds with the red card going to Franciosy & Bennett on 1419 with a yearling Vandenabeele hen. Second place went to George Rudd on 1391 with a yearling Herman Ceuster hen which was 2nd last week. Third place went to George Rudd on 1327 with a 2yr old Herman Ceuster hen. Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1344 with a yearling Lindelauf hen was 2nd from Battle last year in the Gold ring.
Hull Millennium Club. 14 members sent 204 birds with the red card going to Alan Stone & Son on 1441 with one from his Guinness Factory. Second place went to A. Stone & Son on 1440 with a Wayne Brownlee Hardy Kruger. Third place went again to Alan Stone & Son on 1440 with a cock from the Guinness Factory. Fourth place went to Ian Tuttle on 1438 with a multi prize winning Roland Janssen x Vandenabeele cock. Bob Glasby wins all the pools.

Second place went to C & K Pallant on 1313 with a 3yr old Late Steven Yeadon Van Loon hen which has raced over the channel as well. Third place went to George Atkinson on 1309 with a Gaby Vandenabeele. Fourth place went to C & K Pallant on 1300 with a Van Loon. A. Welford s/p 1st C & K Pallant, 2nd G. North Hull Club. 3 members sent 34 birds with the red card and having a hat trick was Barry Kipling on 1371 with a Hereman Ceuster cock. Second place went to Steve Siddle on 1336 with a yearling that has had a first this year and wins the old bird average. Third and fourth places went to Steve Siddle on 1314 & 1297 with a pair of yearlings. And a big thank you to Steve for cleaning the transporter tanks. A comment echoed by a lot of clubs in the YMR.
Kingston Flying Club. 3 members sent 58 birds with the red card going to Mark Taylor on 1437 with one from Gary Cox blood lines and has won for the last 3 weeks. Second place went to Mr & Mrs King on 1395 with a Soontjen x Koopman a previous winner of club and section. Third and Fourth places went to Mark Taylor on 1394 & 1387 with a pair from Shane Readings stock and both are previous winners.
Wawne Ferry Club. 5 members sent 66 birds with the first four places all going to M. Szifer on 1397, 1392, 1363 & 1362 1st third & Fourth birds we all from Shaun Haigh of Barnsley stock. Second bird was a Herman Ceuster.
Coastal North Section:
Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 147 birds with the red card going to Andy Moon on 1371 with a yearling self bred Keith Todd Staf Van Reet hen. Second place went to Pete Thorpe & Dave Elvidge on 1365 with a hen off Martin Woods long distance pigeons. Third Place went to Andy Moon on 1347 with a 4yr old from Dave Pickering which is a Tony Robson Marina Van de Velde which has already had a 1st 2nd 3rd 5th Battle a 3rd 4th Huntingdon and 4th and 5th Billericay. Fourth place went to Dave Pickering on 1342 with a yearling self bred Marina Van de Velde goes back to Tony Robson stock.
Whitby Premier Club. 6 members sent 132 birds with the red card going to James McCourt & Son Dale on 1388 with a cock from their Bart Geerinckx stock which scored as a young bird. Second place went to Alan Richardson on 1371 with a yearling cock off his Louis Thijs Herman Ceusters family which has had a 1st Billericay 3rd Battle 5th Huntingdon this year and wins all the pools. Third place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1363 with a 2yr old Louis Thijs cock. Fourth place went to Alan Richardson on 1361with a yearling Louis Thijs Herman Ceuster.
