Having a good day and topping the Federation and the Coastal South Section is Bolton & Williamson of Bridlington on 1369 Winning the Coastal North Section is Burgess Bros of Filey on 1362 Winning the Central Section is J & A E Norris of Hull on 1279
COASTAL NORTH SECTION :
Filey Homing Society . 5 members sent 72 birds with the red card going to Burgess Bros on 1362 with a gift bird off Dave and Ann Beswick. Second place went to Jess Hotham and Ruston on 1361 with a Van Loon cock, which has had major cards and Nom. Third place went to Jess Hotham Ruston on 1360 with a blue bar Van Loon cock. Fourth place went to Jess Hotham again on 1358 with a Belgium bred dark hen that was 2 nd from Wanstead.
Scarborough Premier Club . 8 members sent 117 birds with the red card going to Ian Hakings on 1343 with a Flor Engles off direct stock from Howard Jackson of Pickering. Second place went to Ian Hakings on 1338 with a Willy Thas cock sat a youngster and bred by Howard Jackson and previous winner. Third place went to Dave Cammish on 1307 with a Janssen which was second from Huntingdon last week. Fourth place went to Dave Cammish on 1275 with a Janssen x Delbar both the pigeons are on Natural. Dave would like to thank Andy Craig for clocking in for him as he was attending a wedding. I understand that Dave's pigeons didn't like him, as he couldn't get them in.
Hunmanby Homing Society . The red card went to John and Les Hill on 1353 with a blue Janssen hen a gift bird off Colin Smith this pigeon was also 2 nd from Wanstead. Second place went to Dave and Ann Beswick on 1346 with a Karel Boeckx from Tranquillity lofts this pigeon has had 3 cards up to now. Third place went to Dave and Ann Beswick again on 1345 with a Van Reet that was 2 nd last week from Huntingdon. Fourth place went to Dave and Ann Beswick on 1345 with another Karel Boeckx which also scored last week from Huntingdon.
Loftus W.R.I.Club . 5 members sent 55 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Brundle and Granddaughter Ebony on 1231 with a Herman x Busschaert hen sent sitting 7 day eggs. Second place went to Sayer Bros on 1230 with a hen that was 1 st last week from Huntingdon with a hen bred off a T. Smith of Stanley which has had 2 x 2nds as well. Third Place went to Mr & Mrs Brundle and Granddaughter Ebony with a pure Busschaert hen off a hen that was 8 th Combine. Fourth place went to Sayers Bros with a Van Winkle cock on the darkness which was 2 nd last week.
Whitby Premier Club .7 member sent 91 birds taking their 9 th red card is Stan and Robert Mallinson on 1300 with a Guido Barberien darkness hen that won Huntingdon bred off a multi winner x direct Barberien. Second place went to J. Noble & Son Mark with a Soontjen darkness cock which was 7 th Sleaford. Third place went to Storr Bros on 1298 Jason and Brians hen is bred off a Vandenabeele from Atkins & Perkins a top loft in Billingham x Leageist Janssen off Simon Parkinson of Crowle this hen was also 2 nd from Peterborough and took the pools Fourth place went to Storr Bros again on 1290 with a darkness Janssen hen of their winning family.
CENTRAL SECTION :
Little Weighton Club . 5 members sent 70 birds with the red card going to Jackson & Fletcher on 1182 and winning by a decimal with yet another son of their Whitby Boy stock cock. Second place went to Bob and Tracy Shaw on 1182 with a De Smetheroot hen that has been trained singled up to 200mls. Bob and daughter Tracy have been flying a very consistent young bird being in the cards every week. Third place went to the ever consistent Kev Kingston and Family on 1179 with a well fancied nominated pigeon and was just pipped at the post by the Shaw Team. Fourth place went to Graham and Chris Revell on 1160 with a youngster bred from the new 1000mile family that they are trying. The £200 special was won by Kev Kingston who had donated same.
Dunswell H.Society . 8 members sent 120 birds with the red card going to Bob Stephenson on 1255 with the same bird that won last week from Huntingdon and is a Kevin Green gift bird sent feeding a youngster. Second place went to Len King on 1237 with a Van Reet hen sitting eggs and was in the frame last week. Third place went to Len King again on 1232 with another Van Reet hen sent sitting eggs. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Brown on 1217 with a Venner hen which was flying to its perch.
Cavalier Homing Society . 7 members sent 48 birds with the red card going to Gary & Katie Cox on 1272 with a blue Van Reet hen which won from Peterborough. Second place went to Gary & Katie Cox again on 1237 with a cheq Braspenning hen which is a previous card winner. Third place went to Gary & Katie Cox again on 1228 with another Braspenning hen also a previous card winner. Fourth place went to Gary and Katie again on 1227 with a Van Reet hen which is also a previous card winner.
North Hull Club . 5 members sent 31 birds and taking the red card again is Terry Stead on 1233 with another of his winning Kevin Hurst Van Loons, this pigeon has already had a 1 st Newark and 2 nd Wanstead and a 2 nd and 4th. Second place went to Moody & Turner on 1197. Third place went to the clubs President George Kay on 1192 with a black pied Kenyon Bill Ishmael off birds of an old army friend of 50 years Peter Thwaites of Leeds. Fourth place went to Vic and Jenny Moody & Granddaughter Rebecca on 1180 no details given.
Hull Chalk Lane Club . 15 members sent 171 birds with the red card going to J & AE Norris on 1279 with a Micky Harvey Van den Bosch - Houben a sister won from Bourges this year. Second place went to R & D Platten on 1204 with a Van den Bosch hen. Third place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1178 with a Janssen x Van den bosch cock older sister has 2 x 1 st . Third place went yet again to Bob and Helen Glasby on 1110 with their mealy cock, a Kellens which took pools and Nom. Fourth place went to M. Green with a Slatey cock bred from Brian Palmers Janssen stock taking its 3 rd card to date.
Driffield Homing Society . 9 members sent 149 birds with the red card going to K. Gladstone on 1216 with a Van Loon hen. Second place went to K. Gladstone again on 1211 with another Van Loon hen. Third place went to P & A Woodmansey on 1203 with a Van Reet x Lefebre Dhaenens having its first race since coming late from Wanstead. Bridlington D.F.C . 12 members sent 146 birds and taking the first four positions is Bolton & Williamson on 1369, 1368, 1367 and 1366 he also wins the 6 bird. All their pigeons are Panet Van Loons. Norman wishes he had results like this. The photo this week is of Brian's assistant Michele in one of the young bird lofts who has a great rapport with the young birds as can be seen in the photo. Nathan Hoggard wins the club nom.
Bridlington Eastside . 6 members sent 57 birds with the red card going to Norman Robinson on 1343 bred from half brother and sister off the Cowboy. Second place went to Norman Robinson again on 1323 with a son off Stucky x a hen on loan from John Booth of Castleford. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Jack Hague on 1308 with a hen that likes to sit out taking its 4 th consecutive prize. Fourth place went to Norman Robinson again on 1297 with a grandson off Cowboy winning its 3 rd card.
Bridlington D.R.P.C . 9 members sent 230 birds with the first four positions going to Steve Sellars and Dave Walker on 1365 1364, 1363 and 1362. Their first pigeon is bred from Braspenning fed topper with 5 x1sts x a Koen Minderhood Vandenabeele. Second pigeon is a Persoons x DeKlak. Third pigeon is bred from Bouges Fed winner x good Janssen cock. Fourth pigeon is a Jan Aarden x Janssen hen which was racing from Portland on Tuesday in the mnfc.
Withernsea Homing Society . 5 members sent 108 birds with the red card going to Graham Sparkes on 1269 with a Janssen hen which won Huntingdon last week. Second place went to Alec and Margaret Dodson on 1263 with a pied cock which was 3 rd from Huntingdon last week, it's a very bad trapper and is bred off Mr Reliable. Third place went to Geof Hines on 1240 with a little dark cheq hen which has been flying consistently all season.
Hornsea & District . Sent 51 birds with the red card going to Phil and June Edmonds on 1306 with a Van Loon. Second place went to new members Mr & Mrs Gray on 1254 with a Black Jackson and Andrews cross. Third place went to Say & Southwick on 1235 with a Willy Van Hoote which also took 3 rd last week from Huntingdon. Fourth place went to Phil and June Edmonds again on 1230 with a Braspenning x Houben that took a card last week.
Hedon Flying Club . 5 members sent 91 birds with the red card going for the third week to Mr & Mrs Lister on 1286 with a pigeon that took a frustrating 5 minutes to trap, this pigeon was also first last week from Huntingdon and is a Kevin Locker "Just a Kid" Soontjen stock x James Bond Janssen. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Lister on 1238 with another Kevin Locker cross same way as their first pigeon. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Lister yet again on 1220 with a Mike Pedley Janssen. Fourth place went yet again to Mr & Mrs Lister with another Mike Pedley Janssen. Well done!
