The Combine raced from Battle on June 28th 2014. Topping the Combine and the Central Section is Mr & Mrs Crawford of Hull on 1385. Topping the West Section is Paul & June Battersby of Goole on 1371. Topping the North Section is M. Hutchinson of Filey on 1343. Topping the South Section is S. Jackson of Driffield on 1362. Well done everyone.

 

Central Section:

 

North Hull Club. 4 members sent 31 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Crawford on 1385 with a Jos Thone yearling taking is 2nd red card of the season. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Crawford on 1333 with a yearling Jos Thone taking its first card of the season. Third place went to Vic Walsh on 1332 with a yearling KoNipius. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Crawford on 1326 with a Staf Van Reet x Wildemeersch.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 10 members sent 78 birds with the red card going to Duffin & Beasley on 1343 with a George Rudd Hofken hen which has had a 2nd and 4th. Second place went to T. Boynton on 1333 with a Bri Rowson Davey Alport hen. Third place went to George Rudd on 1327 with a Marina Van De Velde cock taking its 3rd card. Fourth place went to Duffin & Beasley on 1325 with a George Rudd Hofken.

Hull Millennium Club. 7 members sent 55 birds with the red card and Third place going to A. Stone & Son on 1379 and 1324 with a pair of well trained roundabouts out of the stock loft. Second place went to P. Stamford on 1328 with one of his 57 distance stock. Fourth place went to K & H Green on 1324 with one of his ark family.

Cottingham Homing Society. 7 members sent 62 birds with the red card going to Graham Howman on 1339 with a T. Drayton multi prize winning (Little Vinnie) Vandenabeele. Second place went to Kev Kingston & Family on 1338 with a Graham Sparkes breeder buyer. Third place went to Graham Howman on 1327 with a De Klak x Pau Janssen. Fourth place went to John & Margaret Rawson on 1320 with a Clydsdale x Radar.

Driffield Homing Society. 11 members sent 93 birds with the red card going to Sam Jackson on 1362 with a multi prize winning Clive Lister Gus Janssen x Hereman Ceuster. Second place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1337 with a Bob Mallinson 3yr old Van den Brante which was 3rd last week. Third place went to Ken Gladstone on 1332 with a Ricky Wheelhouse Hereman Ceuster. Fourth place went to Pete Dixon on 1332 with a G Rouse of Hull Hereman Ceuster gift bird Pete also wins the pools.

Kingston Flying Club. 6 members sent 70 birds with the red card going to Gary Cox on 1366 with a 2yr old multi prize winning Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster. Second place went to Gary Cox on 1364 with a 3yr old multi prize winning Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster. Third place went to Gary Cox on 1338 with a yearling Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster. Fourth place went to Donny McCracken on 1335 with a 3yr old Wildemeersch that has won north and South.

Little Weighton Club. 5 members sent 37 birds with the red card and Second and Third places going to Jacksons & Fletcher on 1301, 1298, 1288 all with three 2yr old widowhood cocks. Fourth place went to R. Lonsdale on 1212 with a natural Delbar hen. Jacksons & Fletcher win the beer nom.

Sutton Flying Club. 3 members sent 30 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Driscoll & Son on 1220 with a self bred Soontjen which has already had cards this year. Second place went to T. Fairfield on 1207 with a Andy Cooke Janssen Busschaert which has also taken cards already. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Driscoll & Son on 1192 with a self bred Soontjen. Fourth place went to D & D Allen on 1175 with a Jules De Veries taking its firs card.
Walton Priory Club. 4 members sent 36 birds with the red card going to G. Block on 1378 with a S. Sutton 2yr old Busschaert cock they named cotton bud. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Keith Haldenby on 1365 with a Gary Cox yearling cock which has had 1 x 1st this year. Third place went to J. Manuel on 1318 with a yearling Gorog & Jude. Fourth place went J Manuel on 1316 with a 3yr old must prize winning Gorog and Jude widowhood cock.

West Section:

Second Third and Fourth places went to Mr & Mrs Brumby on 1326, 1316 and 1315 all with their family of Vandenabeeles. John Pickering wins the £1 nom.

Norton I. Flying Club. 10 members sent 127 birds with the red card going to Brian Ford & Sons on 1366 with a Janssen x Van Winkle which has had a 2nd Arras and 2nd Billericay. Second place went to Brian Ford & Sons on 1365 with a Janssen x Van Winkle which has had 1st Huntingdon and 4th Combine. Third place went to Brian Ford & Sons on 1364 with a Janssen which has had a 2nd and 4th Combine as a young bird. Fourth place went to Brian Ford & Sons on 1366 with a Hereman Ceuster which has had a 1st Billericay.

Pocklington H. Society. 9 members sent 116 birds with the red card and Second place going to G. W. Atkinson on 1319 and 1300 with his Vandenabeeles. Third place went to G. W. Acey on 1297 with an Eric & Sue Blake pigeon. Fourth place went to T. Edwards on 1297 with a Ponderosa Janssen.

Goole L.M.S.H.S. 9 members sent 97 birds with the red card going to Paul & June Battersby on 1371 with a self bred 2yr old Vandenabeele cock off M Brighton stock.
