Sleaford 2

The Combine raced from Sleaford on the 2nd of August 2014 liberated at 1-45pm in a South East wind. Topping the Combine and the Central Section is Gary Cox of Hull on 1753. Topping the North Section is Derek Howard and Paddy Johnson of Scarborough on 1733. Topping the South Section is Sam Jackson of Driffield on 1686. Well done everyone.

 

Central Section

 

Kingston Flying Club. 6 members sent 168 birds with the red card going to Gary Cox on 1753 with a Premier Stud Geerinckx which was 3rd Combine last week. Second place went to Gary Cox on 1718 with a Premier Stud Hereman Custer. Third place went to Gary Cox on 1708 with a Premier stud Geerinckx. Fourth place went to B. Thornton on 1677 with a Gary Cox pigeon.

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 11 members sent 251 birds with the red card going to Franciosy & Bennett on 1702 with a Majistic Vinx x Lindelauf which is a Hull breeder buyer. Second place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1701 with a Premier Stud Hardy Kruger. Third place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1699 with a Busschaert x Van den Bosch Hull breeder buyer. Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett yet again on 1699 with a Kenyon x Jan Aarden cock.

Hull Millennium Club. 9 members sent 163 birds with the red card and Second place going to John & Jackie of Hall and Dearlove on 1677 and 1676 with their new breed of A Welfords Karel Boeckx pigeon. Third and Fourth place went to A. Stone & Son on 1662 and 1662 with a pair off his Janssens family.

Cottingham Homing Society. 8 members sent 163 bird with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Sullivan on 1728 with a Benny Steveninck. Second place went to John and Margaret Rawson on 1723 with a Clysdale x Radar pigeon. Third and Fourth place went to K. Kingston & Family on 1719 and 1718 with his basket breed.

North Hull Club. 7 members sent 127 birds with the red card and Third place going to D. Rasul on 1688 and 1655 with his D. Franciosy pigeons. Second place went to E. Smith on 1666 with a Busschaert. Fourth place went to S. Loughlin on 1653 with a Hereman Ceuster.

Little Weighton Club. 4 members sent 53 birds with the red card going to T. Walker on 1701 with a gift bird off Keith Haldenbys G. Cox stock. Second place went to T. Walker on 1699 with a G. Cox Staff Van Reet. Third place went to C. Fenn on 1673 with a Jos Thorne. Fourth place went to C. Fenn on 1570 with one of his own breed.

Walton Priory Club. 6 members sent 132 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs G. Thompson on 1702 with a P Mathew's busschaert which was fourth last week.  Second place went to Mr & Mrs G. Thompson on 1694 with a Mc Cormack & Schofield Janssen. Third and Fourth place went to Jamie Manual on 1637 & 1630 with a pair of self bred Gorog and Jude x J Manuel.    

Driffield Homing Society. 6 members sent 91 birds with the red card going to Paul Woodmansey on 1707 with a cock bred off a pigeon that returned to the late Sid Days loft x Bob Mallinson hen. Second and Third place went to Sam Jackson on 1686 and 1674 with a pair of Premier Stud Hereman Ceusters. Fourth place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1637 with a Bob Mallinson cock. Pools won by J. W. Hubbard & Son Ladies cup won by Sam Jackson. 

 

Coastal North Section

 

Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 177 birds with the red card and Second and Third and Fourth places going to Derek & Paddy Johnson on 1733, 1732, 1732 and 1711 all with their self bred Keith Arkless from up north stock.

Hunmanby Homing Society. 6 members sent 141 birds with the red card going to Tony Robson on 1646 with a Marina Van de Velde. Second place went to John & Les Hill on 1637 with a Bussey & Chappel. Third place went to John & Les Hill on 1625 with a Bussey Chappel x Busschaert. Fourth place went to John Robson on 1620 with a Muller Janssen.

Whitby Premier Club. 11 members sent 403 birds with the red card again going to James McCourt & Son Dale on 1724 with a Staf van Reet bred by Pete NortonSecond place went to James McCourt & Son Dale on 1724 with a Heremans Ceuster cock bred by Wormleighton & Swinney. Third place went to James McCourt & Son Dale on 1723 with a self bred Soontjen x Van Loon through Kevin Lawson all on darkness. Fourth place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1722 with a self bred Louis Thijs cock on the darkness.

Filey Homing Society. 3 members sent 62 birds with the red card going to Mervyn Hinchcliffe on 1670 with a Mr & Mrs Beswick Karel Boeckx. Second place went to Mervyn Hinchcliffe on 1664 with a Mr & Mrs Beswick Karel Boeckx x Ali Taylor. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1643 with a self bred Marina Van de Velde. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1635 with a self bred P & J Roziers of Belgium. 

 

Coastal South Section

 

Bridlington D.F.C. 10 members sent 204 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1635 and 1558 with a pair of Tommy Hawes & John Pratt of Kings Lynn Flor Engels. Second place went to Bernard Gray on 1592 with a Van Loon. Third place went to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1586 with a Premier Stud Gaston Van de Wouwer.  

Flamborough Homing Society. 4 members sent 48 birds with the red card going to Mike Farnell on 1460 with a self bred hen. Second place went to John Kemp on 1445 with a self bred hen. Third place went to Mick Holdsworth on 1406 with a self bred cock which wins the nom. Fourth place went to Paul Lawson on 1152 with a self bred cock.                                                                                                                   

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 8 members sent 119 birds with the red card going to David Bennison on 1360 with a Phil Edmonds Van dyke Herman Ceuster. Second place went to David Bennison on 1347 with a Phil Edmonds Braspenning Herman Ceuster. Third place went to David Bennison on 1309 with a Jan Arden. Fourth place went yet again to David Bennison on 1307 with a Janssen x Koopman.                                    

Patrington Haven Leisure Club.4 members sent 139 birds with the red card going to D. Nicholls on 1591 with a Premier Stud Albert Derwa Second and Third place went to John Wadsworth on 1562 and 1561 with a pair of Paul & Helen Johnsons Van Loons. Fourth place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1558 with a Peter Van Merwe cock.                                                                                                                

Withernsea Homing Society. 5 members sent 119 birds with the red card and Second place going to Dave Beadle on 1411 and 1410 with a pair of Premier Stud Gaston Van de Wouwers. Third place went to P. Davenport on 1362 with a Lindelauf x Kirkpatrick which won last week. Fourth place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1342 with a self bred Phil Curtis Delbar.

West Section were liberated separately at 2pm and topping the Section: S. Ireland on 1702.

 

Pocklington H. Society. 8 members sent 167 birds with the red card going to S. Ireland on 1702 with a Hartog x Staff Van Reet. Second Third and Fourth places all went to D. Carlton & Sons on 1679 1678 and 1675 all with their Staff Van Reets.

Goole L.M.S.H.S. 7 members sent 121 birds with the red card and Second Third and Fourth places going to N. Parkin, Louie & Archie on 1612, 1609, 1605 and 1603 all with their self bred Jan Lotterman x Kees Bosua cocks.

Eastrington P. F. C. 3 members sent 31 birds with the red card going to A. Beevers on 1047 with a Kirkpatrick off Des Newbald of Pocklington. Second Third and Fourth place went to A. Beevers on 913, 884 and 883 with three Willy Jacobs from Arthur Sellers of Cudworth. John Pickering wins the noms.

Kirbymoorside F. Club. 9 members sent 185 birds with the red card going to M & A Lander on 1645 with a Steve Wilson Staff Van Reet x Ponderosa Janssen hen. Second place went to A Tateson on 1641 with a G. Ray gift bird. Third place went to H. Jackson on 1631 no details. Fourth place went to M. Howe on 1624 with a self bred Peter Warriner bird.

Tang Hall W.M.H.S. 3 members sent 73 birds with the red card and Second and Fourth places going to Barry & Chris Mason on 1556, 1555 and 1466 all with their family of Delbars. Third place went to R. Cardy on 1468.

Haxby Flying Club. 3 members sent 60 birds with the red card and Second and Third and Fourth places going to Barry & Chris Mason on 1556, 1555, 1555 and 1555 all with their Delbars.

Norton I. Flying Club. 11 members sent 302 birds with the red card going to Mick Burdett on 1688 with one off Scots cock x  Belgium stray. Second place went to Maurice Hodgson on 1687 with a Bob Mallinson Van den Brande. Third place went to R. Mort on 1687 with a Bob Thorpe Leemputten. Fourth place went to Brian Greenley on 1685 with a Van Loon off Gert Pluimers stock, Brian won the £30 pools.
