The Combine raced from Billericay on the 25th of September 2014, with a West South West wind once again sending them over to the coast. Topping the Combine and the South Section is Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse of Bridlington on 1650. Topping the North Section is Colin Smith of Filey on 1638. Topping the West Section is B. Ford & Son of Norton on 1543. Topping the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1541. Well done everyone.
Coastal South Section:
Bridlington D.F.C. 6 members sent 118 birds with the red card going to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1650 with a Premier Stud Albert Derwa. Second place went to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1650 with a Premier Stud Gaston Van de Wouwer which topped the Combine last week. Third place went to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1650 with a Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster with has had 4th Combine and 2 x 1st clubs. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1635 with a self bred Marina Van De Velde x Koopman.
Patrington Haven Leisure Club. 6 members sent 203 birds with the red card going to G. H. Sparkes on 1634 with a Premier Stud Albert Derwa that was 1st Combine from Chelmsford. Second place went to Derek Nicholls on 1634 with a Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster. Third place went to Derek Nicholls on 1633 with a Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster nest mate to the second pigeon. Fourth place went to Graham Sparkes on 1631 with a Premier Stud Geerinckx.
Withernsea Homing Society. 3 members sent 53 birds with the red card and Second and Third and yet again Fourth places going to Dave Beadle on 1598, 1590 and 1589 and 1588 all with his Premier Stud Hardy Krugers.
Hornsea & D. H. Society. 5 members sent 71 birds with the red card going to June and Phil Edmonds on 1561 with a Hereman Ceuster x Wildemeersch. Second place went to Gavin Leahy on 1502 with a Vandenabeele. Third place went to Phil & June Edmonds with the nest mate to the winner. Fourth place went to AM & JA Bettney no details.
Coastal North Section:
Scarborough Social Club. 4 members sent 60 birds with the last red card of the season going to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1581 with a Mr & Mrs Dave Beswick Karel Boeckx hen which won last week. Terry and Paul win the young bird points. Second place went to Ken & Sue Skelton on 1579 with a Bernard Gray gift bird. Third place went to Ken & Sue Skelton on 1579 with a self bred Paul Johnson of Hedon x own stock which had a 3rd at Billericay. Fourth place went to Ken & Sue Skelton on 1578 with a Gabby Vandenabeele x Premier Stud which had a 1st at Battle all three birds have had every race.
Whitby Premier Club. 7 members sent 160 birds with the red card going to S. Mallinson & Son on 1581 with a well fancied self bred from direct Louis Thijs Hereman Ceuster which has had a 1st Chelmsford 6th Huntingdon and wins all the pools. Second place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1581 with a self bred direct Louis Thijs stock Hereman Ceuster. Third place went to James McCourt & Son Dale on 1579 with a Hereman Ceuster hen bred by Wormleighton & Swinney of Sunderland which has had a 1st Battle these lads have had a very good young bird season. Fourth place went to Barry Storr on 1574 with a hen bred from his Kevin Lawson Van Loon x Soontjen.
Filey Homing Society. 2 members sent 30 birds with the red card going to Colin Smith on 1638 with a Vandenabeele sitting 10 day eggs. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1632 with a self bred off pure Marina Van de Velde. Third place went to Colin Smith on 1611 with a Vandenabeele hen on a youngster. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1607 with a self bred off pure Marina Van De Velde's
Loftus Homing Society. 3 members sent 65 birds with the red card and Third place going to Clennan & Hanson on 1509 and 1497 with a Hereman Ceuster. Second and Fourth place went to Clennan & Hanson on 1499 and 1470 with a Kannabel.
Central Section
Hull Millennium Club. 8 members sent 81 birds with the red card going to K & H Green on 1538 with a Janssen x Ark family. Second place went to A. Stone & Son on 1463 with a George Appleton of Manchester Soontjen. Third place went to K & H Green with one from Club Secretary’s family of Janssens x with his own Ark family. Fourth place went to John & Jackie Hall on 1437.
Hull Chalk Lane Club. 6 members sent 97 birds with the red card going to P & C Carmichael on 1477 with a Brian Wade Soontjen x Van Loon hen. Second place went to P & C Carmichael on 1464 with a self bred Dave Robinson (The Flying Vet) Third place went to P & C Carmichael on 1445 with a self bred Dave Robinson hen. Fourth place went to D. Williams on 1442 with a hen which wins all pools and 2 bird.
Cottingham Homing Society. 4 members sent birds with the red card going to W. D. S & S Hadley on 1435 with a Trevor Drayton Vandenabeele. Second place went to W. D. S & S Hadley on 1435 with a self bred Veneer x Van Loon. Third place went to W. D. S & S Hadley on 1434 with a self bred Mike Wood Jan Theelan. Fourth place went to W. D. S & S Hadley yet again on 1403 with a Trevor Drayton Vandenabeele which won Sleaford.
Driffield Homing Society. 4 members sent 40 birds with the red card going to Sam Jackson on 1550 with a Premier Stud Herman Ceuster x Clive Lister Gus Janssen. Second place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1541 with a Bob Mallinson hen which has been to every race. Third place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1503 with a Bob Mallinson hen which has been very consistent and won several prizes. Fourth place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1502 with a self bred Bob Mallinson hen. Paul wins all the pools.
Kingston Flying Club. 4 members sent 50 birds with the red card for the first time this year going to A. Hunter on 1466 with a Gary Cox Van Reet. Second Third and Fourth place went to Gary Cox on 1444 1439 and 1433 all with his Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster.
Walton Priory Club. 4 members sent 33 birds with the red card and Second place going to G. Block on 1448 and 1437 with a pair of S. Sutton Busschaerts well done Gray. Third place went to Jamie Manual on 1403 with a self bred Kerry Mellonby stock. Fourth place went to Jamie Manual on 1391 with a self bred out of the late Paul Gorog stock.
North Hull Club. 4 members sent 26 birds with the red card going to Sean OLoughlen on 1414 with a Shane Hussy Janssen x Dorden. Second place went to Barry Kipling on 1401 with a Dave Franciosy Lotterman. Third place went to Mick Foster on 1343 with a Busschaert. Fourth place went to S. OLoughlen on 1340 with a Hereman.
West Section

Second place went to Brian Ford & Son on 1543 with a Hardy Kruger x Hereman Ceuster which was 4th last week. Third place went to Brian Ford & Son on 1490 with a Hereman Ceuster x Janssen which has had a 3rd before. Fourth place went to Brian Ford & Son on 1483 with a Kannibal x Hereman Ceuster which has had 2 x 1sts and 1 x 2nd B. Ford & Son win the pools and Pontoon £119.

Carlton & Sons on 1349 with a Janssen x George Atkinson. Third place went to G. W Atkinson on 1345 with a Vanderhee x Van Hove. Fourth place went to G. W Atkinson on 1330 with a Vandenabeele.
