SCARBOROUGH SOCIAL CLUB 2014 PRESENTATION NIGHT
AT THE NEWLANDS HOTEL
The members would like to start off by thanking the clubs host's for the evening Joe & Joanne Hakings of the Newlands Hotel for providing our excellent meal and evening with the presentation being well supported with 42 members and friends attending.
The prize presentation is based on a nominated points system and was topped for the sixth time in a row and having a fantastic season Terry & Paul Douthwaite with 120 old bird points and 54 young bird points with a total points of 174, also winning the Old bird and young bird points cup. They also win 14 x 1sts 11 x 2nds 10 x 3rds 10 x 4ths 14 x 5ths and 11 x 6ths and winning 10 sponsors and pigeon of the year. Second was Keith Todd with 67 Old bird points and 11 Young bird points with a total of 78 points, winning 2 x 1st 2 x 2nd 4 x 3rd 4 x 5th and 1 x 6th and 4 sponsor. Third was Derek Howard and Paddy Johnson with 38 Old bird points and 39 young bird points with a total of 77 points also winning 6 x 1st 1 x 2nd 4 x 3rds 4 x 4th 3 x 6th and 5 sponsors. Taking Fourth was Pete Thorpe with 68 old bird points winning 1 x 1st 3 x 2nd 3 x 3rd 3 x 4ths 2 x 5th. 4 x 6th and 3 sponsors. Fifth place went to Ken & Sue Skelton with 17 Old bird points and 29 young bird points with a total of 46 points and 1 sponsor. Sixth place went to Allen & Ingles with 29 Old bird points. Winning 1 x 2nds 3 x 4th 1 x 6th also winning 1 sponsor. Seventh place went to Willie Garnett with 3 old bird points and 25 young bird points with a total of 28 points and winning 3 x 2nd 1 x 3rd 1 x 4th 2 x 5th 1 x 6th and 2 sponsor. 8th was Dave Pickering with 2 x 2nd 2 old bird point and 23 young bird points with a total of 25 points. 9th went to George Jackson with 3 old bird points and 14 young bird points with a total of 17 points. Winning 1 x 1st and 1 x 4th 10th went to Andy Moon with 15 young bird points. Next Steve Patchett winning 5 points. The club then finished off with an excellent raffle with everyone winning one or more prizes which made a £100.
