This weeks Yorkshire middle route Combine race from Billericay on the 26th of September was liberated in a Variable wind and Topping the Combine and the South Section is Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse of Bridlington on 1442.Topping the North Section is Mr & Mrs Hotham of Bridlington on 1429. Topping the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1427. Topping the West Section is Brian Ford and Son Gary of Norton on 1390.

Well done to everyone another good race with the weather holding out and thanks go to John Rawson Frank and Cliff for the excellent racing we have had over the season. Please will you let me have your presentation write ups as and when they are held with some photo’s if possible. Coastal South Section:

 

Bridlington D.F.C. 11 members sent 228 birds with the red card going to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1442 with a Hereman Ceuster. Second place went to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1441 with a Hardy Kruger. Third place went to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1441 with a Albert Derwa. Fourth place went to Kerry Mellonby & Ricky Wheelhouse on 1434 with a Hardy Kruger.

Flamborough Homing Society. 4 members sent 31 birds with the red card going to John Kemp on 1315 with a gift bird off John Dixon of Holbeach. Second place went to Mike Farnell on 1258 with a Van de Velde hen. Third place went to Mick Holdsworth on 1249 with a self bred hen. Fourth place went to John Kemp on 1241 with a self bred cock.

Hornsea & D. H. Society. 6 members sent 95 birds with the red card going to Gavin Leahy on 1329 with a Vandenabeele. Second place went to N & J Say & Southwick on 1292 with a Staf Van Reet. Third place went to Phil & June Edmonds on 1277 with a marina Van de Velde. Fourth place went to Phil & June Edmonds on 1276 with a Vandenabeele.

Patrington Haven Leisure Club. 8 members sent 231 birds with the red card going to Derek Nicholls on 1416 with a premier Stud Geerinckx. Second place went to Paul & Helen Johnson on 1414 with his premier stud stock. Third place went to Ali McCloud on 1414 with a Premier Stud Albert Derwa. Fourth place went to Robert Puttock on 1410 with a Premier Stud Hereman Ceuster.

Withernsea Homing Society. 3 members sent 40 birds with the red card going to Dave Beadle on 1391 with a Hardy Kruger. Second place went to Dave Beadle on 1391 with a Gaston Van de Wouwer. Third place went to Dave Beadle on 1391 with an Albert Derwa. Fourth place went to Dave Beadle on 1391 with a Rauw Sablon all the birds are Premier Stud bred.

 

Coastal North Section:

 

Scarborough Social Club. 6 members sent 216 birds with the red card going to Allen & Ingles on 1426 with a Cappello which was 5th Huntingdon. Second place went to Ken & Sue Skelton on 1420 with a self bred Scheers Lodewyckx x Bri Bolton Ceuster x which was 1st from Chelmsford and 8th Huntingdon and has had every race. Third and Fourth places went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1419 and 1406 with a nest pair of Jan Howmans.

Hunmanby Homing Society. 5 members sent 98 birds with the red card and Second and Third places going to Tony Robson on 1421 and 1420 and 1411 with three Marina Van de Veldes and his first pigeon was 1st the week before. Fourth place went to Alister Tankard on 1399 with a Bob Bedford gift bird.

Whitby Premier Club. 5 members sent 164 birds with the red card going to S. Mallinson & Son on 1415 with a self bred Louis Thijs Hereman Ceuster cock which was 4th Huntingdon last week. Second place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1414 with a self bred Louis Thijs Hereman Ceuster cock which was 6th Huntingdon. Third place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1414 with a self bred Louis Thijs Hereman Ceuster hen which was 3rd Huntingdon. Fourth place went yet again to S. Mallinson & Son on 1414 with a hen bred by good friend Frans de Coux of Berlaar which was 1st open from Chelmsford and 7th Huntingdon also winning all the pools.

 

Central Section:

 

Hull Chalk Lane Club. 8 members sent 87 birds with the red card going to D. Williams on 1396 with a self bred Dave Thommo Mandelearts stock on loan which has had 3 x 1sts now. Second place went to P. C Carmichael on 1370 with a hen. Third place went to D. Williams on 1351 with a self bred Dave Thommo Mattheeus stock on loan. Fourth place went to Franciosy & Bennett on 1350 with a Van den Bosch x Soontjen.

Hull Millennium Club. 7 members sent 113 birds with the red card and the next three places going to Kev Green on 1372, 1370, 1370 and 1351 all with his Ark Family, Kev’s first hen also was 1st last week from Huntingdon.

Cottingham Homing Society. 4 members sent 95 birds with the red card going to Dave Robinson on 1420 with a Martyn Mitchell Carerra Vandenabeele cock which was 1st Sleaford, 1st Huntingdon 3rd Chelmsford, 5th Billericay and 4th Battle. Second place went to Dave Robinson on 1399 with a Julian Petch cock that was 1st Huntingdon and 1st Battle. Third place went to Dave Robinson on 1399 with a Julian Petch hen. Fourth place went to Dave Robinson on 1387 with a Peter Carmichael cock. John Rawson and all the members would like to congratulate Dave on a marvellous young bird season 9 races sent 9 wins many times taking the top ten.

Driffield Homing Society. 4 members sent 84 birds with the red card going to Paul Woodmansey on 1427 with an outstanding hen which has had a 1st Newark, 1st Billericay, 2nd Huntingdon and raced the full programme Second place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1386 which has already won Sleaford. Third place went to Paul Woodmansey on 1385 with a hen. Fourth place went yet again to Paul Woodmansey on 1381 with a hen which has had a 2nd Sleaford and 2nd Battle and all are bred off Bob Mallinson birds. Paul also wins the pools. Next it is the winter shows.

North Hull Club. 9 members sent 84 birds with the red card going to C. M. Wood & Son on 1323 with a G. Revell gift bird. Second place went to D. Rasul on 1318 with one off a London flyer. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Crawford on 1290 with a Jos Thorne Staf Van Reet. Fourth place went to M. Foster on 1273 with a Franciosy & Bennett Breeder buyer.

Kingston Flying Club. 4 members sent 46 birds with the red card and Second place going to Bill Drayton on 1292 and 1292 with a pair of self bred Busschaerts. Bill has not been very well this season and has had to spend time in hospital and as a result missed quite a few races. Third place went to A. Hunter on 1270 with a Mike Dyer Koopman. Fourth place went to Gary Jones on 1188 with a self bred Dave Biddy.

Walton Priory Club. 4 members sent 38 birds with the red card going to Graham Block on 1366 with a self bred Steve Sutton cock. Second place went to George Charlotte on 1321 and 1299 with a pair of Staf Van Reets which have won cards before. Fourth place went Pete Mitchell on 1282 with one off his distance family.

 West Section:

 

Norton I. Flying Club. 6 members sent 98 birds with the red card going to Brian Ford & son Gary on 1390 with a Hardy Kruger. Second place went to Brian Ford & Son Gary on 1390 with a Hereman Ceuster. Third place went to Richard Mort on 1380 with a Leemputten which won the pools. Fourth place went to Brian Ford & son Gary on 1380 with a Hereman Ceuster which was 1st last week from Huntingdon they also won the £70 pontoon.

Eastrington P. F. C. 5 members sent 92 birds with the red card going to John Pickering on 1333 with a self bred Winnie Hagston Van Coppenole. Second place went to Wardle & Hayward on 1305 with a Braspenning. Third place went to Mike Shipley on 1297 with a self bred Winnie Hagston Vandenabeele gift bird x Vandenabeele x Wardle & Hayward Torsten Dally. Fourth place went to Wardle & Hayward on 1289 with a Frank Sheader Soontjen.

Pocklington H. Society. 4 members sent 48 birds with the red card going to George Atkinson on 1374 with a Gaby Vandenabeele. Second place went to George Atkinson on 1353 with a Gaby Vandenabeele cross. Third place went to D. Carlton & Sons on 1344 with a Janssen. Fourth place went to George Atkinson on 1319 with a Van Hove.

Kirbymoorside F. Club. 5 members sent 67 birds with the red card going to Howard Jackson on 1342 with Top Star x Harry. Second place went to Albert Tateson on 1319 with a R. Mort Leemputten. Third place went to Albert Tateson on 1318 with a R. Mort late bred Leemputten. Fourth place went to Howard Jackson on 1286 with a Gaston Van de Wouwer.
