This weeks Yorkshire middle route Combine race from Chelmsford on the 21st of May were liberated in a South South West wind doing around 70miles and hour thanks must go to John Rawson for an excellent race on the Saturday. Topping the Combine and the North Section is Mervyn Hinchcliffe of Filey on 2021. Topping the South Section is Gray & Atkin of Bridlington on 2015. Topping the Central Section is Mr & Mrs Keith Haldenby of Hull on 1953. Topping the West Section is Mick Burdett of Norton on 1932. Well done to everyone.
Coastal North Section:
Filey Homing Society. 4 members sent 75 birds with the red card going to Mervyn Hinchcliffe on 2021 with a Ali Taylor Busschaert x Karel Boeckx. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 2014 with a pure Jacob Poorvliet. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 2014 with a pure Marina Van de Veld. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 2014 with a Jacob Poorvliet x Louis Thijs.
Hunmanby Homing Society. 7 members sent 118 birds with the red card going to John & Les Hill on 1986 with a Flor Engels x Busschaert. Second place went to John & Les Hill on 1984 with a Bussey Chapel x Busschaert which has had a 2nd and 2 x 4ths this year. Third place went to Tony Robson on 1977 with a Marina Van de Velde Fourth place went to Bob Bedford on 1968 with a Frank Sheader Soontjen x Busschaert which was 2nd at Eastbourne.
Scarborough Social Club. 7 members sent 150 birds with the red card going to Pete Thorpe on 1992.3 with a roundabout multi prize winning Lefebre Dhaenens x Paul Janssen. Second place went to Ken & Sue Skelton on 1992.2 with a yearling Hardy Kruger which was very consistent as a young bird and had a 1st. Third place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1991 with a Gert Philips x Willy Vranken. Fourth place went to Peter Thorpe on 1985 with a Lefebre Dhaenens yearling he calls rocket man gets a card every time.

Mallinson & Son on 1974 with a 2yr old self bred directs Frans Maris x Louis Thijs cock which has had 2 x 1st Huntingdon and a 3rd Chelmsford. Second place went to Alan Richardson on 1971 with a yearling Louis Thijs x P & J Rozier cock which has had minor cards before. Third place went to Brian Storr Bros & Son Jason on 1966 with a Ken Monks of Rotherham Hereman roundabout cock. Fourth place went to S. Mallinson & Son on 1965 with a multi prize winning 4yr old Gert Heylen x Van den Brande Bros which has had 2 x 1st Combines to its name. S. Mallinson & Son and A. Richardson win the noms.

Second place went to Gray & Atkin on 2014 with a Steve Sellars Jannsen which has already had a 2nd. Third place went to Gray & Atkin on 2013 with a Hereman Ceuster.Fourth place went to again to Gray & Atkin on 2009 with a Rudi de Saer through Dave Kennady stock which was 2nd Arras last week
