YORKSHIRE MIDDLE ROUTE COMBINE NEWS

This weeks Yorkshire middle route Combine race from Huntingdon on the 9th of July were liberated in a South West wind. Topping the Combine and the South Section is Derek Nicholls of Patrington on 1894. Topping the North Section is Colin Smith of Filey on 1833. Topping the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1756. Topping the West Section is Brian Ford and Sons of Norton on 1712. Well done everyone.
Coastal South Section:
Flamborough Homing Society. 6 members sent 124 birds with the red card going to Kerry & Lisa Mellonby on1860 with a Premier Stud Geerinckx. Second place went to John & Linda Chadwick on 1856 with a Premier stud Sablon x Stuart Knowles Brockamp a multi prize winner this year. Third place went to John & Linda Chadwick on 1854 with a Vandyke Veenstra which scored as a young bird. Fourth place went again to John & Linda Chadwick on 1854 with a Premier Stud multi prize winning Heremans Ceuster x Van Dyke.
Bridlington D.F.C. 2 members sent 37 birds with the red card going to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1828 with a Louis Heremans x Louise Thijs. Second place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1827 with a Hereman Ceuster x Marina Van de Velde. Third place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1827 with a self bred pure multi prize winning Marina V. D Velde cock. Fourth place went to Mr & Mrs Hotham on 1815 with a R & A Evans bird.

Second place went to Derek Nicholls on 1893 with a Premier Stud Geerinckx cock that won as a young bird
Third place went to Shane Reading on 1875 with a self bred soontjen that has already scored this year. Fourth place went to Andrea Nicholls on 1861 with a Premier Stud multi prize winning Gaston Van de Wouwer hen.
Withernsea Homing Society. 5 members sent 47 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to Dave Beadle on 1831 and 1767. Second place went to Alec & Margaret Dodson on 1809 with one of their old Hereman Delbars. Third place went to Tony Meek on 1780.
Coastal North Section:
Scarborough Social Club. 8 members sent 150 birds with the red card going to Pete Thorpe on 1789 with a David Lloyd Herman Ceuster which has had a 1st Chelmsford and a 4th Peterborough this year. Second place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1784 with a Sablon which had a 5th at Battle this year. Third place went to Pete Thorpe on 1779 with a Norman Watson Lambrecht roundabout hen which has had a 2nd Huntingdon and a 7th Billericay. Fourth place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1775 with a Benny Steveninck which was 3rd at Billericay this year.

Mallinson & Son with a 4yr old cock with previous cards of a 3rd 2 x 2nd 4th and 7th. Fourth place went to J McCourt & Son with a yearling roundabout Geerinckx cock previous cards 2 x 4th and a 5th. S. Mallinson & Son with the noms.

Hull Millennium Club. 8 members sent 148 birds with the red card and Fourth place going to John & Jackie Hall on 1734 and 1731 with a pair of P. Welfords roundabout Karel Boeckx. Second and Third places went to Mark Taylor on 1733 and 1732 with a pair of self bred roundabout cocks.

Second place went to Ian Tuttle on 1719 with a Hereman Ceuster which has now had 9 x 2nds. Third place went to Graham Howman on 1696 with a D. Robinson Cararra x Vandenabeele. Fourth place went to Dennis Smith on 1680 with a Darren Lancaster De Klak Janssen.
