This weeks Yorkshire middle route Combine race from Arras on the 15th of July were liberated in a West South West wind. Topping the Combine and the North Section is Terry & Paul Douthwaite of Scarborough on 1369. Topping the South Section is Gray & Atkin of Bridlington on 1365. Topping the Central Section is Paul Woodmansey of Driffield on 1336. Topping the West Section is Albert Tateson of Kirbymoorside on 1316. Well done to everyone.
Coastal North Section:
Scarborough Social Club. 10 members sent 148 birds with the red card going to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1369 with a Quirijnen x Leo Heremans which has had 3 x 2nds 1 x 3rd 1 x 4th. Second place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1364 with a Philips x Willy x Sablon. Third place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1363 with a Philips x Willy x Sablon. Fourth place went to Terry & Paul Douthwaite on 1349 with a Mystique x Leo Hereman. Terry & Paul win the old bird points 77 with Pete Thorpe close behind with 73 points, Howard & Johnson next on 49 points, K. Todd on 39 points, K & S Skelton on 30 points.
Whitby Premier Club. 8 members sent 111 birds with the red card going to J. Noble & Son Mark on 1361 with an A. Richardson x Page bros. yearling roundabout cock.
Second place went to J. Noble & Son Mark on 1331 with a Ian Stafford Jos Thone 3yr old roundabout hen which has had minor cards before. Third and Fourth places went to Storr Bros & Son on 1330 and 1327 with a pair of 2yr old roundabout hen's both have scored before. J Noble & Son win both noms.
